They're fake.  That's a photoshop filter to make it look like a scan.  If you look at the pixel edges around the text you can tell.  It's pretty obvious, especially in the top shot.

yeah theyre fake. the tie fighter is very small compared to the tie fighter its hovering over. unless... there is a plot twist that makes you get hit by a shrink ray!!!!! then u would go oh no we got hit by a shrink ray then the evil guys would say, hahhahaha. u got hit by a shrink ray... errr... hahahahaha. yeah. thats what it would be like.
it be a lot more levels in rogue squadron III. rogue leader was kinda short cuz they didnt have enough time to put all they wanted. they made the whole game in frickin 9 months because they needed to have the game ready by launch of the gc. they have a lot more relaxing time while making this so best of luck to the people making the game.

Whoa.
*breaks down in chair from excess drooling*

Those ones are tons better than the ones you posted earlier eh Mario?
And Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike? Cool name?
I can imagine the possible title before this one:

STAR WARS: ROGUE LEADER II: ROGUE SQUADRON III

imagine the confused look on everyone's face when they read THAT title!
I think that although RSII was hella cool, there were just some things that just weren't really well done. I mean, the Falcon and Slave 1 aren't THAT weak! Seriously! And the hangars (Rebel and Imperial) should have more HUMAN and MACHINERY activity. The hangars just seemed lifeless, even though they were totally looking the part. Like in the Death Star levels, shouldn't there be more pilots heading to their craft, and more panic in the hangars? I mean, the Death Star's about to fire on you, and you're the only pilot in the hangar!
And if those fake pics are anything to judge by, I think RSIII would be the most graphically cool title to date on ANY platform.

Whoops! I read EGM in the store the other day, but I never even thought to look for the RSIII shots. I was too busy groaning at the idiocy of some of their reviews.

All I can say is "F*CK YEAH!!"

Those shots are incredible!  I remember how amazed and excited I was the first time I saw screenshots from RS2 and read info about it.  I really thought I would never have that incredible feeling of "WOW" again.  Well Factor 5 has managed to do the impossible and make me feel like that again.  Why can't every third party get that kind of graphics out of the Cube?  Come to think of it why can't NINTENDO get that kind of graphics out of the Cube?

Yeah, some the new shots are super pretty, although some of the regular "On foot" character models definitely are in need of some massaging/general cleaning up.  I'm sure they'll take care of that before it ships though.

Still, a lot of the new features they're showing off in the screenshots look like exactly what I wanted them to do with the series so color me happy overall.  Can't wait to play this shizzy.

Im sure theyre gonna cranck the graphics up a couple notches. I guess I can sell my copy of Rogue Leader now
I didnt even beat Rogue Leader 2 but RS3 looks so awesome, especially with the outta ship foot action, I hope they make that feel right and not just a gimmick.
