If you post here the harvest items that you still need, I can see if somebody on my list will trade them to me.

Black N Mild I should go to sleep but I read what happened and I think this will help you. Since New Years celebrations is done in AC you should push your clock back to 11pm on December 31st.
 Open your gate.
I can stay for 1 hour.

edit: The game just errored on her if you just tried to enter.
something about a wifi connection error that made her exit the game and re-enter.

She apologizes for unplanting the things you just planted.
She just started playing yesterday and hasn't got the hang of the controls.

I haven't tried hooking up Wii Speak on different Wiis but the WiiSpeak code I think only matters for the Wii Speak Channel.

The Designs can be made at the Tailor(Ables Shop) for 350 bells.
Now a few things. You want to wait on selling your fruit and coconuts until you have a good amount. Once the fruit blooms pick them and plant them some place else. Do that for a week or so. Coconuts need to be planted by the ocean. You know that area where the land meets the sea that is where you plant the coconuts. Look for the dry land or in this case the snow. Spread the coconuts out. 2 spaces between the coconut trees. Planting other fruit. Try to find a open space and not plant the fruit near buildings or signs.

Making bells. For the time being the best way to get Bells(money) is to fish. Once the bugs come out they tend to be good.(Spring) You can also sell seashells  to nook but you won't get much.Sell her native fruit while you build your other fruit trees.

I think that is it at the moment. She has any other questions post it here and i'm sure someone knows.

Good Night and Happy New Year!

Those are designs that somebody created.
You can create your own designs to use for clothes, hats, and umbrellas, as well as other uses such as flags or displays on the ground. The design tab is the one to the right of the item tab, you can create 8 different designs here. If you want to create a "Pro" design, meaning that you can design the sleeves of shirts, go to the Able Sisters' shop in your town and talk to Able about designs. You can also store up to 64 designs here if you want to have more than the 8 you can carry. If you want a design which somebody else created, you can go to the Able Sisters shop in their town and receive any designs that they put on display.

You can create designs only whilst in your own town when the gate is closed.

What about SD cards.
The game doesn't recognize mine. Is it because the card is an SDHC (8GB)?

do I need a standard 2GB for it to be recognized?

The word on the GaneFAQs board is that most SDHC cards don't work. If the SD card menu recognizes the card but the game does not, then it probably won't work.

I can trick my 4gb non-sdhc card to work with the game most of the time. I usually have to pull it out and pop it back in though.

Anyone up for playing tonight? I'm trying to play catchup so I'll have my gate open in a little bit so post here if you want to join. Or just check my gate in a little bit. If it's not open and I'm not here try sending me a WiiMail so I know you are trying to get in because the Blue Light will cue me in to you.

There is a item called the slingshot. You can purchase it at Nooks. I think it is avalable in Nooks second store or perhaps someone can send you one from here.

Well Nook upgrades his store when you buy or sell I think 25,000 bells combined from his store for the first upgrade. Nook will say that he is going to upgrade his shop and he will say when he upgrades it.His store will be closed that day and the following day it will open as the new store.

I've got a spare slingshot for you if you want it.

I also now have an extra silver axe thanks to a very stubborn fountain goddess constantly teasing me by never coughing up the gold so you guys can have that one too.

There is a silver and gold slingshot you can get as well. I know the gold one appears in a balloon after popping 8 regular balloons. Balloon prizes are great ways to get the neat retro Mario Brothers items.

I'll be on for a bit tonight if anyone is up and interested in playing. I'll leave my gate open. Also tomorrow during the day I am going to my folks house to babysit my nephew and I plan on playing this during his naps if anyone wants to hook up during the day.
