I got the hero's hat thing.  I will get the shirt tomorrow as it will only let you order 1 point item a day.  I plan to get everything eventually, but I want the Link outfit so I can run around with my shovel pretending to be Link digging up stuff.

Man: so envious.  I had a points day yesterday but didn't have enough bell to get up beyond silver.  I want the Samus stuff.  (Oh, well.. patience.  It's not like I'm going to stop playing anytime soon.. I played the DS version every day for about two years.)

I actually dropped the DS version fairly quickly, but the GC version owned my life for quite awhile.

Today was a good rare fish catch day.  I caught me a second Coelacanth, and a second Stringfish.  Now I have them, along with a umpteenth Tuna and Koi in my house.  As temting as it is to sell them to get all those bells, I can't give them up.  But now that I have them for my own personal collection, any new ones get sold to Nook, to do whatever it is he does with all the stuff I sell to him.  I also caught a ass load of goldfish this morning.

Today there was a little cat lost in my village. So I went over to Shammack's town and returned it.I got some fossils from him.I donated those to my museum. After that he went to my village.I had a Moon for Sale.It was 32,000 bells. He purchased it.His Nooks was upgrading. So I told him he could come and sell anything at my Nooks.

Yes! I paid of my second Mortgage! If you want to come to my town my fruit is somewhat limited.About half of my trees are fruitless.I have some other trees that are growing so those trees should be in full bloom in two days.I'll probably fish and fossil hunt the next few days.

This is going to be the first game I get when I buy my Wii.

No, I don't actually have a Wii yet...

Getting there...

I do have a DS version of AC, but no WiFi.  :(

What did you guys get from Jingle? I got a Jingle Dresser from him as a gift. Anyway I LOVE this game, it is so neat to go into the game every day and seeing if something special is going on.

I've been stocking up on hats and glasses, so I wore lots of disguises and managed to trick him into giving me the whole Jingle series.  I ended up with duplicates of a couple of items; I may offer those up if anyone needs them to complete their series.  I know I had an extra bed, and maybe a lamp and wardrobe?

(I'll be away from the Wii for the next couple of days, so I time-shifted forward to tonight so as not to miss the Jingle event.)

Well just try not to get into a habit about shifting time forward. I know with me that is what ruined AC for me because I did it so much!

Yeah, in principle I don't like time travel, but I consider this a special circumstance because it's a once-a-year event and I can't bail out of visiting my family just so I can play Animal Crossing (even if I might like to).

(Jingle comes at 8, but hopefully you found that out by now, Maxi)

Yeah I did Shammack. Thanks though. You got the whole series? Cool. Is the Jingle series something you can purchase via Catalog? If I don't get the entire series can you visit my town and I can pick up what I don't have and I will give the items back.

Merry Christmas everyone!  I managed to get the entire Jingle set as well. :)
One thing that tricked me though is that Jingle hid inside empty villager houses as well as outside.  Took me awhile to figure out what was going on.

Wait wait wait- I've been away, but I did get a letter saying Jingle was coming to my town. He's hiding- Do I have to find him or does he come in the evening? I'm totally lost O_O
