WayForward's Mighty Milky Way leads the three-game DSiWare lineup this week, and MDK2 is the sole WiiWare release. There is still no word on the debut of the 3DS eShop.
The BioWare-developed MDK2, which originally came out for Dreamcast, PC, and PlayStation 2 in 2000 and 2001, is a action game where you control three different characters (Kurt Hectic, Dr. Hawkins, and a robot dog named Max) through 10 different levels involving platforming, combat, and more. MDK2 is available for 1,000 Wii Points ($10).
Mighty Milky Way, the third DSiWare game from WayForward, features puzzle-heavy gameplay where you must create and destroy planets to survive against T-Rex and other space monsters. It is available for 800 DSi Points ($8).
GO Series Tower of Deus, from Gamebridge, is a 200 DSi Point ($2) 2D platformer for DSiWare. The goal is to get to the top of the tower by completing 40 levels before the clock runs out
The last game this week for DSiWare is Whack-A-Friend, a somewhat-morbid 200 DSi Point ($2) game from Agetec. Using the DSi's camera, you take a picture of a friend and then play a touch screen-based game of Whack-A-Mole with their face. If you do well, their picture will appear bruised and bandaged.
