I don't know, I am just going by what it said at Nintendo Life (I already knew that they had pulled the game and issued a refund, I hadn't heard about this disabling part). I am not sure why anybody would want to keep it anyways if you can only play the first level.

Maybe it's a bad ass first level.

Or maybe they were a little kid when the game came out and since they weren't very good at games they could never beat the 1st level so it's the only one they have nostalgia for.  I don't know.  Who cares?  I just want to know if it's somehow possible for Nintendo to disable a game that's already on my system.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

It's probably a situation where if you want the refund you have to give up the game. I don't think the system in place on the Wii allows Nintendo to forcibly take back a game even if they wanted to.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo's TOS states that they may alter things on your Wii like removing illegal channels and such. Remember they like to release things in the system updates that removes the HBC and what-not. So a WiiConnect24 Wii could easily have their VC games removed. This sounds a bit extreme though.

I really would like an app like that for DSi that let you write in characters and words from any language. If it's your handwritting then the sky is the limit. I would have loved something like that for school.

I guess they don't include the GBA update versions from the G&W Collection? Those were often significantly better, especially with Chef.

Speaking of those, I'm surprised that we haven't gotten a DS version of G&W. Or did we and I just missed it at some point?

Just Game & Watch Collection from Club Nintendo. The last retail one was Game & Watch Gallery 4 for Game Boy Advance, back in 2002 (the fist 2 were for Game Boy, the 3rd was for Game Boy Color).
