Nintendo Gaming / Re: Swapnote from Reggie & More New Stationery!!

I think I'm close to getting all the Swapnote Stationery and I think I'm missing two. I was told that there are currently 86, and I have 84. I'm wondering if the two versions of Crashmo (jpn/na) and Art Academy are being counted in the total. If this is the case then I have them all since you can't have both versions of the Crashmo and AA notes on one 3DS.

I also saw something about a Kirby Return to Dreamland stationery, but I can't find any trace of it. Does anyone here have this or heard of it?

If I didn't already have the Zelda 3DS I would definitely get this one. Though if I had the money I may not buy this since the copy of FE that comes with it is the digital pre-installed. Not sure if I would be able to transfer it to my main 3DS.

It's still an awesome looking unit though.

I can't wait until the Miiverse comes to the 3DS. I see people having fun with it on the Wii U and I'm a bit jealous. Nintendo IDs will also be awesome on the 3DS.

I don't have a Wii U, but with the Miiverse can you request someone be your friend (with them getting a notification) or does the friend system work like the current friend code system?

I've had this happen to me a few times. I have the Zelda LE 3ds, and I'm not sure if that's one of the launch models or not. I just assumed it was a random glitch with the 3DS.

I would say that the main reason why only some games are available on the eshop is because Nintendo needs to have an agreement with the publisher/content creator to distribute digitally. Remember back when Sony was going to allow people to transfer all their physical psp games to digital? That feel through because legally they couldn't do it for all the games they didn't own.

There are probably other factors too, but usually it all has to do with money.

My ID is Ozz236 and my friend code is 3222-5910-4302.

My 3DS has become my favorite way to game as of late.
I play a bit a Street Fighter 4 (not that good), and I would like to become more active with Swapnote, though many of my current friends don't use the program.

I also play a bunch of Mario Kart 7, and will probably get NSMB2 and Animal Crossing New Leaf when it comes out.

TalkBack / Re: Why Nintendo Needs to Continue Doing Its Own Thing

I am glad Nintendo does it's own thing. Because it doesn't have all those divisions to fall back on it focuses on creating a quality gaming product. With the exception of the Virtual Boy, Nintendo pumps out a solid product every time.

Also with Nintendo doing it's own thing it promotes innovation and moves the industry forward.

I didn't get the note.  :'(
Do you have to own the game for Nintendo to send it to you?

For those of you who are looking for a full list of all the stationery across JPN, NA and EU check the link below.
I just realized that there are a bunch of NA ones I'm missing.

Even if it was for a copy to sell later, it still isn't worth the time an effort put into dealing with the Black Friday madness.

BnM mind sharing those stationeries with me or is your friends list full?

I kinda wish they allowed you to swapnotes via streetpass with other people. I know this opens people up to the possibility...oh nevermind. I realized that nothing good could come from that.

This game looks amazing, though the battles seem like they will become tedious quick. I've read other impressions where the writers say they enjoyed their experiences with the game. I guess I'll wait to see if it makes it Stateside to check it out.

So I'm new to the whole Swapnote thing. I recently realized that you can go back and download the stationery sent out from Nintendo.

Can 3DS owners in the US get the Japanese stationery if it's sent to them?

I'm kinda hooked now on sending notes, but my current friends, who are active 3ds players don't really send notes.

I recently got the my last piece for NSMB2. I actually got it by purchasing pieces. :P
I travel between downtown Boston and Harvard Sq daily and there's a decent amount of 3DS owners in the area. I usually get between 2-5 passes a day. Also it's not an issue when PAX East comes around.
