Plus, the tech is newer and the touch panel seems like it will be more precise and responsive.More precise and responsive than what? The uDraw tablet?
Besides the two G&W games, that T-shirt might be the next best thing.
QuoteAnd where have I EVER said I was pirating the game? The CD's free, and one way or another it'll end up on the internet. I have said that I'm buying Skyward Sword used due to issues I have with how badly Nintendo of America has conducted its business lately, which is NOT piracy. This CD, if it were the actual full soundtrack, might have pushed me over the edge to buying the game new, but from the sounds of it it's merely a sampler.
You know, I'm not at all for piracy, but....I admit, I have downloaded the mp3's for the Oot 3DS soundtrack, not because I don't have the CD (I have the CD, I registered my copy of Oot 3D soon as I got it), but because I really, really don't want to bust the shrinkwrap on my copy. I want to keep it pristine. Is this crazy? Sure. But it's the stupid fanboy inside me that's making me do this.
I will most definitely preorder the Gold Wiimote bundle, but to be honest, I'm considering keeping that pristine as well, buying a regular copy of Skyward sword, selling that back when I'm done with it, and downloading the Mp3's for that as well.
Now...barring the whole legality issue, is what I have done, and what I may do in the future, wrong?

This reply is awesome; the practice is wrong, but the reply is still awesome. Since you asked (maybe rhetorically) I will provide a very brief personal opinion summary: it is wrong because you are taking advantage of two materially different things (an unopened collector's item which has a value above and beyond a regular CD, as well as a product you get to enjoy using) for a single price.
Sorry, messed up the formatting of this post on my phone...
It continues to amaze me that people think piracy is okay, and will actually use it as means of justifying not buying a game.
I'm looking at you, broodwars...

Any update available on the upcoming t-shirts?Its on the DNF Release Schedule.
In my personal defense... Wait, t-shirts?
I ordered from Amazon and got my copy today. Gotta love Amazon Prime. I'm already regretting registering it now to get the CD instead of waiting two weeks for it to count for the new Club Nintendo year. All the songs will be available online once the disc ships out, and I'm only going to use the disc once, to rip it to my computer, and then it will just sit on a shelf.
Yeah - it sucks for those who ordered online, but them's the breaks.
Thanks, Nintendo, for helping B&M stores stay relevant.
As for Nintendo "making" you "jump through hoops" - they didn't (aside from the glitch some of us were struck with... even then, it wasn't really a "hoop"). They made the deal VERY clear from the beginning. Buy the game, be one of the first to register it, get a free LIMITED EDITION soundtrack. Far from "hoops" - and here's hoping everyone's whining about it doesn't stop Nintendo from doing more promotions in the future.
I can assure you, pretty much every Walmart in the country had copies of this game. I work in the smallest format Supercenter and we had it. I was in a hometown store today (a non-grocery Walmart - yes, they still exist) and they had several copies of it. Now, the store may not have had them out yet... but that's a whole different story.
