Swords & Soldiers II is coming to the Wii U eShop according to developer Ronimo Games. The original was released on WiiWare back in 2009, and was later ported to other platforms, including 3DS. The sequel sends Redbeard and his gang of Vikings on a new adventure, making new friends while facing new enemies along the way.

More details about Swords and Soldiers II will be revealed at GDC 2014 and PAX East.

The original was an ok game, but remains the only WiiWare game I have purchased but never finished.

Where's my Nyxquest sequel and Lost Winds threequel? Those games would kick ass on the Gamepad.
Gouge away.

Ok, learned nothing about the game from that.

Hopefully learning how to make a game that lasts more than an hour.
