Just ordered the 80gig using the Sony Card taking a 100 dollars off.  Anxiously awaiting its arrival....

Now that Burnout is only 30 bux I'm definitely picking that up.  Any other recommendations that are now pretty cheap?

I'm considering a 360 again. The Arcade is down to 188€ with Forza and Pinata for free, with a HDD bought separately that comes out to little more than a Pro but includes games, the Pro is completely lacking those.

OTOH, how feasible would it be to run the system on demos for a start and only grab games later? I suppose you don't need to pay for the online to get demos?

Not sure for the 360, but I know the online network is free on PSN for demos and such...

I'm thinking about getting a 360 Elite for myself as a Christmas gift.  I'm pretty sure I'll only do it if I keep my grades up.  The only problem is that FPSes make me motion sick. :(  I just need something to compliment my Wii.

I thought I was the only one!  MOH 2 for the Wii especially, when the motion controls go A-Wall and the screen just spins endlessly....

Of all my 360 games I only own 4 games of the First Person Shooter genre: CoD4, Half-Life 2 and episodes, Team Fortress 2, and Bioshock. That leaves 24 games that are of other genres, and of all my 360 pre-orders for this year only one is definitely in First Person of which you don't even have to shoot anything if you want it like so. Look at my list of games: List.

Oh hey, the 360 just dropped to 179€ for the Arcade, 239€ for the Pro. Also I heard a store clerk explain how the PS3 is sold out and a customer complain how you can't get one anywhere... I wonder what happened? Big sales boost? Finally chewed through the reserves? Sony no longer interested in Europe?
