Nintendo Gaming / RSIII : I don't understand!

I have none but one big question about RSIII which is :

How does the cooperative play works?!

Let me explain.

I read somewhere that the game will let you play cooperative in all the Rogue Leader (RSII) missions. Is this saying that we will be able to play cooperatively in all the level of Rogue Leader (RSII) and have the new Rebel Strike (RSIII) missions in single player?

I don't understand.

Please, clear that up for me!

You, my friend, are incredibly narrow minded.

Your opinion means nothing. Your opinion is nothing. I don't think anyone who own a GameShark needs your biased opinion to wheter or not they should play Nintendo games. You are no one to tell other what they have to do.

Cheating device is a part of the videogame world. Believe it or not. Accept it or not.

Nintendo Gaming / the gameboy to gamecube scam
« on: April 05, 2003, 08:27:39 AM »
I'm curious : has anybody brought up that you can only get the bonus mission in Splinter Cell (XBOX) with XBOX Live or a specific OXM issue? This is kind of like the issue thecubedcanuck discussed in the beggining. I can't have access to a special bonus if I don't buy a thing I don't want. Every company does that nowaday. I don't see the necessity to bitch Nintendo for it.

Nintendo Gaming / Why Is Eternal Darkness Regarded So Highly?

I've encountered a similar story with Undying for PC.  I find the chapters too short and the pace very slow.  So far, the puzzles have been rather simple as well.

What I do like is the rune system as well as the opportunity to control so many characters.  The Sanity meter is a nice touch but I've rarely had anything worthwhile happen to me for having a low Sanity meter.  Even if something happens, it's quite easy to correct by going to another room.

Am I missing something or is this type of game just not my cup of tea?

I've not been impressed myself too. I find the game to be very gripping the first time around but the more you do, the more boring it gets (you'll understand later). I don't think it was worth all the praise it got but I'm not saying I didn't enjoyed it as a whole.

I think the experience didn't feel as complete as it should have.

there is definately a design error.  the cable plugs in upside-down and you don't see the cool nintendo logo.  just the crap on the bottom!

somebody really dropped the ball on that one.

LOL.

Since playing the sarcasm game, there seems to have a bigger flaw in the GBA SP desing. The flip screen doesn't even allow you to see the crap on the back of the link cable.

Shame on Nintendo.

I have one for my Gameboy and had those for NES and SNES (Game Genie that is).

While it's fun to toy around with your games, NeoLego nailed the problem about stability. The general recommendation is to have a "clear" version of the game and a "hacked" version. It's sort of uneconomic but it's the only way to make sure you can keep your data secure.

I have lots of fun with my hacked games and don't really care starting over. But it's not like that for everyone.

Instruction booklet -> section 4 -> left side -> last par. -> first line ->

When you are finished playing, always turn your system OFF, and unplug the AC adapter (if you are using it) from both the wall socket and Game Boy Advance SP.

Seems pretty clear to me. As to if it will or not affect battery life, I would follow the constructor advice and assume that letting the SP alway plugged is indeed shortening the battery life.

It is said in the instruction booklet INCLUDED IN ALL GBA SPs BOXES (you know that thin thing everyone just throw away?) that it's better to never have an empty battery but not leave it on the charge all the time.

If you want more detail, read that booklet man... Everybody should read that at least once.

General Gaming / Need to seperate the GCN mobo from plastic base
« on: February 23, 2003, 01:33:55 AM »
How did you do it?

I tried to remove all the visible screws and lift the mobo by the metal edging with a flat screwdriver but it did not go off even if I was pulling pretty hard.

Do you have any advices on how I should proceed?

Edit: Typo.

General Gaming / Need to seperate the GCN mobo from plastic base
« on: February 15, 2003, 04:43:28 AM »
Hello.

I want to paint my GCN and for that, I need to seperate the plastic base, to be painted, from the GCN motherboard. I ripped my GCN to pieces but stopped at the final step because I couldn't find a way to seperate the base from the mobo.

Has anyone done this before? Because I would really love to paint my GCN.

Thanks everyone.
