fucking worst game i ever bought, i remember getting hyped for the game. Playing it for a few minutes, taking it back, getting a refund and buying a DREAMCAST.

However, 90% of every game for n64 i ever rented, and one that i bought and returned, have re-ended up in my collection. I'm like a Greek temple, once its entered the temple it can never leave, and if it does leave it will be re sought when the time is right. The inside of the castle doesn't look bad, but the game plays like ass.

With as much crap as quest 64 gets, at least it was competently programmed. In fact i love that game. THQ why did you have to do it?

Another game to talk about i nthe same vein of Adyn is Chronicles of Pern, that game is so wtf made that we just played it to make fun of it.

Yeah, Quest 64 receives a lot of flack, but it's core concept and gameplay was solid. I was devastated when my save file was deleted...

I'd get Aidyn Chronicles for sure if it came out on the VC. Or maybe I should hunt it down on EBay?

No man, you don't understand. I own the Aidyn Chronicles. It's so bad that it made me put down the N64 for a month. It was just a constant reminder of my shame. If this game comes out on the VC someone deserves to be punished.

Here, I'll write our VC Round-Up for it:

Aidyn Chronicles is an RPG from the makers of... nothing. It sports a terrible combat system, Porygon-like graphics, and a story so poorly delivered that you'll think you're reading an InuYasha x Bleach slash fan-fic. Don't let that dissuade you, the obtuse objectives and broken gameplay should get some mention too. Expect hours of gameplay, as the first task of the game, "leave the castle," is almost impossible because nothing in the damn castle is labeled and it is impossible to not get lost.

Not Recommended: On Pain of Death.

I stand corrected, H20Games made three other games.

Two Tetris games for the N64, both of which sucked, and The Flintstones: Big Trouble in Bedrock.

So:

Aidyn Chronicles, published by THQ (so you know it's quality), is an "original" RPG from the makers of two broken tetris games (how do you break tetris?) and a Flintstones title (LICENSED GAEMS).

There, replace the relevant section.

LOL whatever, I loved the large and diverse world. Ya you do get kinda lost in the castle, that is true. But I love the time spent figuring out your party and the different paths that change who's in your party as you go along. I love the leveling and experience system, I even love the battle system, the weapons, and the characters. I love that it is not mapped out really to the point where you practically have to get a piece of paper and draw out what you know. However you could just get the book.

Love that game

I can say that the graphics are bad and there are some glitches.

i rebought it off ebay about a year ago...the answer is no. I saw it at bookmans a local resale book chain for less. The game is like if you took the worst laziest people and told them to make a game, and then they made some incoherent garbage coated in shit.

Quest 64 was complete and utter failure...

I traded it for a pirate, unable to save progress, copy of StarFox 64... and I still got the better end of the deal...
