Tingle in OoT??

I was just looking through the Wind Waker preview booklet that came with my OoT: Master Quest game, and when it mentions that you can buy things like bombs from Tingle, it says, "Tingle will be a familiar to gamers who have played either N64 Zelda game."  

Now, my question is, where was Tingle in Ocarina?  I thought his first appearence was in Majora's Mask.  Am I wrong?

Yeah, that perplexed me as well- Tingle's first appearance was indeed in Majora's Mask and since then he's only been in Oracle of Ages and Oracles, too. I don't know why the manual claimed he was in both N64 Zeldas.

GOOD! I'm NOT going insane!!! I saw that too and lemme tell ya. I was PER-PLEXED! I couldn't think of when Tingle was in OOT. Must have been an error.

hes in ocarina....but hes hiding...yeah...you cant find him...but its now official hes there....given his father is in ocarina.....maybe hes in the backround soemwhere
in mindshare.... maybe hes wearing an invisible cloak!

You know...The people in Termina arne't exact matches to their Hylian counterparts.... Maybe Tingle is a normal guy in hyrule?

Maybe Tingle is Link, but in the future.  Thats why he is so old, and has the same clothes as him....oooh, freaky.

I don't know about any of you guys but when I first saw Tingle in Majora's Mask I sure didn't think to myself "Damn this guy rules.  He should be in EVERY Zelda game."  So why is he is in every Zelda game made since then?  Is there some sort of huge Tingle fanbase in Japan that I'm unaware of?

Anyway considering NOA's pathetic attempt to explain the timeline of Zelda on Zelda.com it doesn't surprise me to hear they got something as simple as Tingle's origin messed up.  This the company that once said that Mario & Luigi were called the Mario Bros because their full names were Luigi Mario and Mario Mario.  Of course I wouldn't have known of the error if you didn't tell me considering that Nintendo of Canada was so nice to NOT INCLUDE the Wind Waker preview manual with the bonus disc.

Tingle should be in the next Smash Bros! Or Soul Caliber 3! Miyamoto should make a platforming game based off the tingle franchise and advertise it and LOLLAMOAROFLHAhahahALOLOL!LMAO!
