What's out for Giants on launch day?

Here's a preliminary list of what characters should be available in some form when Skylanders Giants launches in North America on Sunday October 21.

  • Gnarly Tree Rex (Life Giant) - Bundled with Skylanders Giants PS3 System Bundle
  • Bouncer (Tech Giant) - Available in single pack
  • Legendary Bouncer (Tech Giant) - Exclusive to Toys R Us
  • Crusher (Earth Giant) - Available in single pack
  • Granite Crusher (Earth Giant) - Exclusive to Target
  • Swarm (Air Giant) - Available in single pack
    New Characters
  • Pop Fizz (Magic) - Possibly available as a single pack and in a three-pack with Trigger Happy and Whirlwind
  • Punch Pop Fizz (Magic) - Only available in 3DS Starter Pack
  • Chill (Water) - Available in three-pack with Ignitor and Zook
  • Shroomboom (Life) - Only available in three-pack with Chop Chop, Dragonfire Cannon
  • Fright Rider (Undead) - Available in single pack
  • Jet-Vac (Air) - Currently only available in Wii/PS3/360 Starter Packs
  • Legendary Jet-Vac (Air) - Available in three-pack with L. Slam Bam and L. Ignitor (Toys R Us Exclusive)

Does this mean you can only get it with the PS3 system bundle? If so, others will have to buy it on places like eBay?

Or buy it and then sell the PS3 version.  Though you'd probably make more money buying the game and selling the figure.
