"We were among the first publishers to see the new sexual intercourse in action," said Serge Hascoet, Chief Creative Officer of Ubisoft. "We're excited about the new sex organ and are looking forward to taking advantage of its innovative aspects."

I was a big fan of the sex piano, and I was have doubts about how it would function with the move to wind-based functionality.  If they say it's working great, I'm sold.  I cannot wait for the sex keyboard and sex synthesizer!

Yeah, I live in Florida.  Your best bets to find it is to look in Targets (Super Targets might be more likely to carry it) and the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble bookstores.  In fact, Target is the cannery for Jones according to the box.  While there's no photos on the cans (thankfully, as a Jones photo collector), there are still several on the case.

I hope this doesn't turn Karaoke Revolution into some terrible licensed schlock.

I realize that EA's NFL franchise is known almost universally as "Madden," but I could have sworn the inside talk was that they wanted to remove him from the series.  Perhaps they gave in to marketing studies.  It really is the Madden name that sells; people probably wouldn't be able to do the math that "EA Sports NFL Pro Football 20xx" is the same series--EVEN after hearing "EA Sports: It's In The Game!" for all these years.

"The candle blowing game," as I refer to it, has never failed me on selling people (especially non-gamers) on the possibilities of the DS.

On another note, I have to give major props to the hackers at Datel.  I mean, they figured out how to manufacture GODs, launch programs from the GCN memory card port, and bypass Sony's MagicGate security technology on PS2 memory cards.  They are the definition of leet.

I know I speak for many people when I say I was hoping they use the new Zelda as a Revolution launch game, but with backwards compatibility, that no longer seems to be a concern.

Wow, I hadn't thought of having a Sonic track before you mentioned it, but now the possibilities are racing through my head!

Oh, and I played F-Zero AX at Rocky's Replay a dedicated arcade building here in Orlando, and maybe it was just me, but it felt a bit "wrong."

I've been waiting for something like this game/stylus wallet.  I hope someone makes one for us here in the States.  I've been having to keep my games in my wallet like/with my guitar picks.  Sure, there's that DS/GBA holder from MadCatz, but that's rather hefty.

That's like saying just because a game is coming out of Tiburon, it's an EA Sports game.  But for some reason, EA decided to have them work on the upcoming Superman game.  Sure, they're doing a massive staff hiring since it's been a long time since they made non-sports games, but...

Maybe the folks at GF think maybe it's time to work some new magic in an effort to not be a one-trick pony.

I heard on the evening news that the winning bidder is the same casino that bought the Virgin Mary sandwich.  Wow, makes you rethink just how much people actually lose at those places.

This is not to say that Nintendo is worthless, far from it. They should be treasured and preserved for who they are, and the values they still hold in their development of games that very few companies share.
That was beautiful.  ::applause::

::ahem::  Actually, Sonic wears Soaps brand shoes with the grind-plates.  Yes, product placement, but a logical one since it was tied in with an actual gameplay mechanic.

"Get On Da Floor?"  Does anyone else smell dance pad?   If so, maybe with the hardware barrier broken, Konami may consider porting over DDR.  "May."

TalkBack / RE:Nintendo Reveals Mario Party 6 Details, Microphone
« on: August 26, 2004, 07:01:53 PM »
See, the thing is that mic use in Karaoke Revolution and Seaman/Hey You/Lifeline is different.  The reason Karaoke Revolution works so well is it merely measures vocal pitch and doesn't have to do any crazy intensive voice recognition.

Anyone notice a listing for "Get On Da Floor?"  The "Get On Da Mic" game is rap game ala Karaoke Revolution but measuring rhythm rather than vocal pitch.  Anyway, I mention the former game because...  Do I sense dance pad?  (Or at least a packaged PS2-->GCN converter, I wager).

Nintendo Gaming / RE:A good s-video cable besides nintendo
« on: June 30, 2004, 11:53:37 PM »
Have multiple consoles?  I'd recommend picking the MadCatz SNES/N64/Gamecube/PSone/PS2/Xbox (older version has Dreamcast instead of Xbox) universal cable (should only be $10, about the same price or a dollar or two more than a single-console cable).  That is, unless you have a nice A/V switcher, then maybe you might want to go with dedicated cables to decrease any sort of random signal degradation.

If you have a Rhino's around you (mainly a used game shop), I picked up one for $20.  Unfortunately no manual...
