NWR Forums Discord / 3 reasons I am not excited about Mario Party 9

1) I've played it quite a bit, finished Single Player mode twice on my own even. It's a good game but would seem redundant when I have newer games, and older games less familiar. I'm just not in the mood for it today.

2) It seems a bit lazy for the game still to be the same. If I'm going to go back to it, Nintendo's got to add some content. It has to be free because my time is valuable as a resource and I'm already making sacrifices to be a gamer.

3) Where is Sonic? I don't even like Sonic anymore, but man those games used to be good. There's no reason this one thing from Nintendo shouldn't be exactly the same as that one thing that was good. If Sonic 2 can have a great soundtrack and be remade on 3DS, there's no reason that Mario Party 10 can't have online play.

It could have a treehouse attachment to your house. And DLC. You could download a LBP ballsack costume and dance around the house naked. I bet it would also have wicked water physics and like the fish would be actual monsters you could fight and level up and you'd get kicked out and it'd be like Rock Band

Dragon Quest wont be 3D. I've never played or heard of the series before today, but it sounds like a game that should be in 3D. It could have graphics that you could walk around in.

The one in the air. I totally parachuted on this guy and he was like "you're dead" and sure enough I died. Died of how AWESOME the graphics are I mean wow, you're in the air, and you can SEE the ground, like ACTUALLY SEE, the destination you're headed in. I pulled out my dick and masturbated on the spot I was so impressed. The smoke covered it up, thank god I wasn't in an online multiplayer match! LOL!

I think it's a cool advancement in the series. You can now do things heaps slower, makes it a longer game, well worth the money. Multiplayer is a blast.

This is so awesome. Despite the varied terrain it makes me so nostalgic of 1990's PC shareware FPS movement and lack of interaction. Great times. Thank you Sony for bringing up such emotions in me.

YEEEEEAAAAH ROAD TRIP TIME BABY WOOOOOOOOOO HEEEEEY YEAAAAH WOOOOOOO

I got this brand new big name third party Wii exclusive and it's pretty good. I've only played an hour. Not really revolutionary though I don't think, I didn't really say "wow" when I first stepped on and got the hang of the controls, but the balance board works well and is no doubt a step forward. My neck feels a bit sore from looking left all the time, hopefully i'll get used to it. Graphics are NICE, cool style as well, and the cutscenes and story actually don't make me cringe, it feels pretty natural. While it has a licensed soundtrack, the songs are good. Don't Fear the Reaper is in it!

Not much to discuss. The game isn't really worth a review so I started this thread because I don't think anyone has it and I want to say what it's like. I downloaded it and it's ok. A bit dodgy, the scrolling levels have some slowdown and the backgrounds repeat, but it's a little fun. Uses Crossbow Trainings combo system of consecutive hits, that's basically the only reason I got the game, i'm addicted to that and want more. Nothing really wrong with the aiming, all fine there. Haven't tried the two player mode but it's there! You've got standard target shooting levels, disc flying levels with sombrero hats, and ones where you kill baddies and get head shots for extra points, while still making sure you kill them before they get you. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're dying for another gun game, which I was and i'm happy.

There's no LCT thread, and you call yourselves gamers? I blame the crappy Zapper. I finally found a copy without that waste of plastic (save the whales) stuck with it and I absolutely bloody love the game. First day I started playing it, got all platinums and now i've got all my scores over 120,000. I'll probably get bored of it soon but it's damn fun for now kicking my own arse on the scoreboard. Are enuogh people here into the game to start a high score comp going?

Anyway, it would be cool if Nintendo could make more stuff like this and put it on WiiWare. Maybe a Wind Waker themed shooter, or just a couple of new levels.
