I loved Miitopia on 3DS. I would buy the Switch version if I had time to play it

I have played all of them except Infinite Space and Wonderful 101.

Bayonetta 2 > Astral Chain > Bayonetta > Star Fox Zero > Mad World

I liked the Transformers game they made too. I played Metal Gear Rising, but I cant remember how much I liked it.

They are great at making action games. Im really looking forward to Bayonetta 3.

Its good to hear this coming from Jonny. I played Other M in 2017 for the the first time. I mostly liked it, except for some frustrating boss battles. I could never beat the final boss.

I looked up My Lovely Wife. It is extremely weird and I want to play it

I've heard of people say KRZ is good, but never heard it explained. It sounds very interesting. I think I will play it now.

I will definitely play Biomutant. I heard it talked about on Minn Max and Gameinformer podcasts too and it sounds like my kind of game.

I have an Oculus Quest 1. It is great. I love Beat Saber and Pistol Whip. I played a little bit of Vader Immortal, but need to go back and finish the rest of it.
Tetris Effect is really good too, but it doesnt play as well on the Oculus controllers with no + control pad.
I tried Super Hot VR, but didnt like it very much.

I kind of predicted this. Im very happy.

As for Battle Axe, I streamed it when it launched. I agree that the game is very shallow, but it is really fun and feels exactly like old arcade games. I think that is what they were going for.

I miss having three hours every night to play games. Working 5:30am to mid afternoon really sucks for game time and energy levels. My old job was 9am to 5:30pm, which gave me plenty of time to play games each night.

Also enjoyed the Xbox talk. Good to hear Perry is enjoying his.

As for Tetris Effect, I think it is my favourite Tetris game now. Previously, I agreed with Perry that Tetris DS was the best one.

Mr Movie Man being nominated for the board sure is an interesting bit of news. Someone must think the Mario Movie is going well.

I backed this too.

I currently have 79 amiibo, which can be seen here in my collection tracking app

I couldn't guess any of the games, even though I have played the last two. I was thinking the music sounded Kirby like, but I didn't recognise it because I haven't played it for so long.
The final game, I didn't end up playing very much, so I didn't remember the music.

Great episode. Very comprehensive discussion of the game.
It was interesting to hear about the gyro aiming, I didnt realise that was even an option.
It was also amusing to hear James' take on the story. I think Im one of those people that doesnt look at the story beyond the kind of surface level.

I think this will be going down as one of the best Retroactive episodes.

This episode has convinced me to give Mario Kart Tour another try. I played it around launch and didn't like it. Sounds like it has improved since then. I generally don't play games on my phone anyway.

I bought Control on Xbox at launch. I loved the art, story and world design, but really didnt like the combat/shooting. I got stuck on a boss battle about half way through and gave up playing.
Last year they added settings for an easy mode, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Using these settings, I finished it.

I first played the game on my original Xbox One. At the time, I didnt realise how much it was stuggling to run the game. it runs so much smoother on the Series X. I havent tried the new Ultimate edition because a physical copy of the base game doesnt get you a free upgrade.

Im kind of tempted to play through the DLC, just to see what happens.

Just finished it, the summary is, I loved it.

Its hard to believe the 3DS is capable of such high production values. The graphics and audio are amazing. Capcom really put everything into this.

The gameplay is great, especially with the Circle Pad Pro. The small one is ok, but the game definitely plays best with the CPP XL. I used my New 3DS for the last few missions and it is was after I increased the aiming speed. The standard controls without the CPP are bad.

I really liked the mission structure. I mostly played just one episode per day. It was nice that they didnt go on for too long. Overall, the in game timer said it took 10 hours and 21 minutes to finish. Im happy with that time. I wouldnt have wanted it to go on for much longer.

I dont have much to say about the story. It was good enough, I liked it. The setting on the ship was good.

I think the only thing I didnt like were the swimming sections, but that improved when I found the inverted option.

In some ways, I wish I had played this years ago. But I dont think I would have appreciated it as much if I played it before I played through RE 4 and 5 for the first time last year.

Im not sure exactly how I unlocked it, but an online mode appeared after I finished it. I just tried it and was surpised to find other people to play with. I found two level 50 players, so Im guessing mega fans of the game are sticking to it.
It is a fun little mode where it puts you into a simplified mission. Kill the enemies, collect key, open door, etc. Seems like there are plenty of collectables and upgrades to get. Its kind of funny that I played with level 50 characters. In the missions I hosted, they killed the enemies is basically one shot.
I would probably play more of that, if anyone is interested.

Im glad I finally had a reason to play Resident Evil Revelations. It has become one of my favourite 3DS games.

Another good GBA version is Lego Star Wars. It has the same gameplay mechanics, but it has a kind of isometric/birds eye view instead of polygonal graphics. I played it a few years ago and thought it was really good.

I always have to comment when Trace Memory/Another Code is mentioned.
How could you not want Ashley Mizuki Robbins and her "DAS" in Mario Kart?

Im glad James mention it on sale on the US eshop. It certainly isnt in Australia.

I hope a few more people play it for the retroactive

Played a few more episodes today and now up to episode 10. Im still enjoying it. Im playing on casual and it wasnt until episode 7 that I died for the first time. I have died a few more times since then.

The Circle Pad Pro XL has been extremely good. For the last three episodes, Im going to use the New 3DS.

It's interesting how male gazey this game feels too: Jill's design seems like a mix of cleavage catsuit and Tomb Raider straps,

I hadn't really thought of it like that, but I definitely like it. I guess I'm the exact target audience.

I havent made as much progress yet as I would have liked, but this evening I finished Episode 3. I m liking the game so far. The thing that impresses me most is just how amazing it looks on 3DS, especialy with 3D. It generally runs pretty well too. Although I have noticed it really chugs when loading new areas.

So far, I have played it on the OG 3DS with the Circle Pad Pro. The next time I play it, Im going to swap over to the XL and CPP XL for the next few episodes. Im currently borrowing both of the CPP from a friend, so its my first time using them. The game controls really well with it and is clearly designed to be played this way. The game launched with it, so it makes sense. I havent tried the controls without it yet.

I will swap to the New 3DS at some point and see how it is with the C Stick.

One thing that bothers me a little is the map. It has a dot to say where to go, but it can be hard to work out how to actually get there. I spent a while at the end of episode 3 just walking around the ship.
