MC: "I want to be nicer to my sister, so I'll convince dad to let her keep playing her virtual porn  ;) ".
I stopped there. I had enough. I tried. I really did. But I'm not going to stomach sheer stupidity.

Right, I found that to be pretty stupid. Especially when his answer to keep it a secret was to claim it was his, when they were literally just saying it was his sister's. I'm looking at you, Ayase and the MC's dad.

*shrug* Oh well. I guess I got what I wanted out of the series. Time to move on to bigger and better things. ;)

That last episode of Space Dandy was really good. I was expecting to hate it the way it started out but it turned out well.
Sometimes, you just want to play a video game.

The last episode of Space Dandy was awesome. I really, really dig the music. That George Clinton-esque Japanese style funk is amazing. I would buy the OST immediately. Actually, I wonder if it's available?

This is one of my favorite songs:

Anyway, on CaterKiller's advice I returned to One Piece and it's awesome. It's SLOOOooOOOOOOWWWW as all hell (the whitebeard episodes, seriously?!), but it's pretty awesome. I find myself sometimes just slowly forwarding through episodes. I don't have time to rewatch what one dude said over and over and over again.

Still, it's creative and fun and makes you laugh as well as plucks at your heart strings every once and a while. The main guys lose a lot and if it wasn't such a happy-go-lucky show, it could get pretty dark.

Anyway, I recommend it to those that have the patience.

Been watching some Attack on Titan on Netflix with my Anime-enthusiastic daughter. I like it.
I think I might pick up the blu ray for her birthday.

Welcome to the NHK

A Dark romantic comedy. Unlike western romcoms which are vapid wish fulfilment, Welcome to the NHK devles deep into the characters to the very core of who these people are, why they exist, what their agendas are and develops these people as they interact with each other into better people. There is no quick fix and no riding off into the sunset with the status quo being the solution.

A deeply satisfying experience. Is recommended for anybody who like character development and the quirks of anime.
