Spyke's thread seems to make this one redundant. Anyone have any objections to me locking and unstickying this one so that all this conversating can be officially moved to Spyke's sticky thread?

Considering we seem to actually be getting Virtual Console games maybe once a month now, I have no objections.

This one may have been here first, the other one encompasses these releases and I hate seeing so many sticky threads at the top of the screen. I'd like a better reason to keep it around than that.

My vote's to make this a general VC Discussion thread. That's what it's been for pretty much a year now.

Spyke's thread is worthless unless I want to argue the difference between what is considered a game vs. an app.

You can de-sticky TJ Spyke's thread, because he's the only one who posts in it and he'll bump it up all by himself.

But honestly, all other things equal, couldn't your discussion fit fine in Spyke's thread and you could also discuss WiiWare releases there?

VC is (sadly) such a small part of Nintendo's digital releases, it just seems weird to have an entire sticky thread for it.

You guys may not talk in Spyke's thread but he does do a damn good job of pulling the releases from all over the world into one place.

No he doesn't--he just posts a giant list of a bunch of games no one games about and then complains when there's the one game we do want that's been available in Japan for X number of months but shows no signs of being released in America. It's the GoNintendo of NWR posts.

Unsticky all but one for reference. Leave the others open for free game discussion since people may like to comment on older releases. Merge all those others if you wish (assuming the forum software can handle threads that long). I'd rather not see them locked when there could be a use for them. Or would you rather see extra threads pop up for specific games?

Actually, I wouldn't mind if this and the VC Friday thread were merged. It seems a bit redundant to have two sticky'd threads about the VC. Having the VC/WiiWare discussion thread, and TJ Spyke's official release thread are a good combo of stickys.

That's my two cents, anyway.
