Yeah, Cave Story too. Jonny's got me all hot 'n' bothered about that game.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

I've written Cave Story off by now, it was supposed to come out long ago initially (it was in a July release list for NoE), who knows when they actually get it done.

I'm not writing it off as much as I am writing off Eternity's Child coming to WiiWare. And the sad thing is that it probably would have controlled better on Wii with the IR setup.

Has Luc Bernard even appeared with anything new recently or is he MIA?

Castlevania ReBurf is a neat, old-school plow-thru from the beginning Castlevania game.  Controls are responsive and the graphics are pleasant.  I think it's a good alternative to the first NES game for those trying to scratch a Classicvania itch, and a gentler way to introduce newcomers to the original gameplay.

And I mean CLASSIC since I can't find any option to save my progress whatsoever.

Is that a typo or did we just witness history in the making with a really cheap WiiWare game?

I have to say, I had my doubts that Phoenix Wright would translate well to being played like this (at least these GBA ports), but I probably enjoy it more on Wii than I did back on the DS.  I had forgotten how much reading all that text on that tiny screen would just tire me out, but it's perfectly relaxing reading it all on the TV from the comfort of my couch.  It's a small thing as well, but (unlike blowing into the microphone) doing an "objection" with a Wiimote thrust works pretty well.  I just wish it didn't require as deliberate a motion as it does, because it doesn't always seem to register.  I take it the Bonus Case isn't up yet?  I tried to download it, and the game told me that the content was "no longer available."

Incidentally, the Phoenix Wright music sounds pretty awesome coming out of my TV speakers as well.

So the graphics don't look too stretched out or blurry? That's good to know. I'm still undecided if I want to download it though, as I'm running low on points... plus I don't have a good track record of WiiWare holding my interest, for some curious reason.

There's definitely a bit of pixelation, but considering that it's a GBA game blown up on my 40+ in. widescreen TV it looks great.  Because they show the game in a 4x3 window, instead of trying to stretch the game to the size of the TV screen, it probably scales better than it would otherwise and looks quite stylish.  It looks very similar to how I used to see GBA games blown up on the GameCube GBA Player.
