According to Nintendo's press site (http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=19455), over the next few weeks we will also be getting "Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" AND "Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi". Good news, seems they are trying once again.

Non-frustrating?  Have you played the game recently or are you just going by nostalgia?  My brothers and I gave it a whirl about two years ago and holy **** did it suck.  Just a frustrating generic 2D side-scroller.  And I thought this game was a classic when I was a kid.  Back then I honestly didn't really notice the difference between a good and average side-scroller.  I knew Super Mario World was better than most and Bubsy didn't seem all that great but I couldn't say why.  Now I notice that the difference is in level design.  Mario, Mega Man and Castlevania all had fantastic level design while a lot of other games just seemed to arrange platforms from left-to-right with no real purpose.

Maybe you'll still like it but I wouldn't be surprised if VC releases seriously damage the Super Star Wars series' reputation.

I would say nostalgia.   While yes, the level design was poor, it was the atmosphere that I really like, and it was also the Empire game that was the best in my opinion as well.  Still though, I did enjoy it.

HOLY FUCKING **** SUPER STAR WARS

Never in a million years would I have guessed this game would have come out.

I second this sentiment.

I am pumped. I still own the first one, but never got to own the other two. I just rented them.

Quick, someone nominate it for RetroActive! ;)

When will be realize that besides maybe one or two games Sonic was a horrible, horrible franchise.  Bubsy was better than Sonic 1 and 2, much better.

As for Super Star Wars series , I remember renting it in high school and remembering it was a classic, and the game is just bad.  It had the cool elements like using the light sabers and really being able to do what we wanted to do in the Star Wars universe.  But, the driving levels were horrible.

What I remember most about Super Star Wars were the codes to allow you do have invincibility, light sabers, more men, and level select.  The game had a pretty insane debug code still in that just made cheating fun.

I remember enjoying Bubsy when I was younger. I think a friend owned it and I rented it once.

Nice find, Kraken. Jedi was the one I never got to play.

I don't see why people hated the series. It was fun and challenging. A lot of action going on and the bosses we great.

Star Wars for the GameBoy. I have that one. The DeathStar escape level was long and monotonous.

PictureBook Games: Pop-Up Pursuit is the full name. Nintendolife describes it as a Mario Party type game.

The other 4 games have all come out in Europe already.
