The biggest issue I heard from reviews was its easy difficulty. Not only did it not have a very good learning curb, but as you collected the golden fruit you got stronger and stronger so the last parts of the game were ridiculously easy.

Yeah . I enjoyed the difficulty on the Virtual Console version, easy games suck.

The U.S.version of Adventure Island has another glaring issue. I'm not sure if it's a bug or exists in other territories but, if you set your Wii to 4:3 the game fills up normally on the screen albeit stretched out, if you set your Wii to 16:9 about HALF of the screen is bordered in the game.

Yeah, that's normal. It's a sidescroller, without the borders you'd see more than a 4:3 TV user. Fruits spawn to the right of your screen, I think a widescreen view could actually see them spawn.

It's alright TJ, I was duped by the bot earlier in another thread. Why are we getting so many of them. As sad as it is they persist because somewhere out there people make a profit from them.

Can we not toughen our sign-up bot tests? I heard if you add a check box with the question "Are you a human?" it will deter most of them.

What did the bot say?  Did he come in from GoNintendo?
He basically copied the first post. and at the bottom of its post he had some links to sites.

Anyway I am getting around to playing Majora's Mask. I'm not to far in. Haven't made it to the Swamp area yet but got some things. I had this game on the GC Zelda Collection.Made it to the 3rd dungeon.Game got stolen.
Maxi is dead. I killed him and took his posts and changed genders.

i wonder if glitches are still in place. I heard rumors that the problems lead to both expansion pak emulation and streaming from a cd. in theory a download should cut the glitches

The sound problems that the Collector's Edition of Majora's Mask had were caused by the loading from the CD, so they at least shouldn't be present in the VC release.

6/1/09 games:

Final Fantasy IV: After years: Wiiware

Texas Hold'em Tournament : Wiiware

Boulder dash (c64): Virtual console

===========

I am curious if FF4 is the entire game or just part. I don't want to download 1/3 of the game.

Indeed.  If it does turn out to be that much, that's a big No Sale from me.  I don't pay $72 for my PS3 games, so I'm sure as hell not going to spend that much for a wannabe SNES cellphone game.

I noticed that on the VC Friday's thread, Greg listed that that each subsequent episode will be 300 points.  If that pricing structure holds here as well, then the total pricetag is a little more palatable.
$8 + $3 x 8 = $32 for complete game.

That price is acceptable, as it would place it at just a little less than Telltale Games is charging for their 5 Adventure of Monkey Island games.

I didn't know Money Island's price point had been revealed or even determined.
