Well to be fair it appears that obscure SNES game is a quality game, though it still is a lame week. Looks more and more likely that Majora's Mask is being saved for the 300th VC title. And Bubble Bobble not being released yet is completely inexcusable.

i think there is something big in the AC announcements.

the alarm can use your town's song. this means that DSiWare games can talk to DS games. Pre-existing DS games, not just ones that are designed for that.

especially in the case of AC, i think this has potential. Whether that will ever show up? who knows.

for example. Imagine having 'tag' mode (or whatever AC called it, it was Bark mode on Nintendogs) as a stand alone program. so i don't have to have AC with me, i can still interact and then load it later.

same thing with trading pokemon, or selling coke (err, virtual coke on Chinatown wars, not the real stuff...)

Actually, this Penguins & Friends doesn't sound half bad. IGN gave it a 5.5, but the complaints were all about the presentation, they said the actual gameplay was pretty fun. It really could have used Wi-Fi, though. If it were 500 instead of 800 I'd go buy it right now, but it still makes my list and I can definitely see myself buying it down the road.

Chew Man Fu is a game that has a ridiculous name that in combination with it's obscurity might convince you to ignore the game, but it is in my opinion the best TG-16 game on the VC. Can someone explain to me why I've decided to defend Penguins & Friends so vigorously?

Also, Pool Revolution: Cue Sports is great fun if you have someone to play it with online.
