Never played Solar Jetman, ever. Might not ever play it, with Rare having made it.

ESRB has rated Super Punch Out!! for the SNES and Ogre Battle:The March of the Black Queen for the SNES.

Will Super Punch Out!! come out near the Wii game? We will see.

Also Lonpos and Equilibrio has been rated as well. Both are WiiWare games.

I remember LonPos, but what was Equilibrio again?

Planet Pachinko is extreme

it might be tons of fun, it might be a jumbled mess who knows.

I got Castlevania 3 and Planet Pachinko(impulse buy). Planet Pachinko is odd  my main problem with it is that it isn't clearly stated how to advance to the next pachinko board or to me it just happens way too randomly and you have no real control of what characters you play as. The game is a little too chaotic way more chaotic than a bullet hell SHMUP but it is entertaining. You can play with the Wii remote NES style, Wii remote + Nunchuk  and Classic. Either Nunchuk or Classic control styles are the way to go because the weapon switch is mapped to the A and B button in the Wiiremote only control scheme which is bad in a really fast paced game.

In the immortal words of Rabicle, **** YEAH SLUTS.

I love this game.  I played it to death as a kid.  Don't tell anyone, but I never managed to beat it as a kid.  (Shhh...)  Maybe I'll have better luck this time around.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Dracula's Curse, for those who don't know, is a watershed Castlevania title, as it is more or less the ancestor of the Symphony series. It is also a bit more accessible than the first two games.

The thing I remember about Castlevania 3 was it used the MMC5 chip which if I recall correctly, allowed a seperate color pallete for each sprite, better sound, and diagonal scrolling.

The better sound was destoryed in the American version, including some nifty graphic effects. Still an awesome game though.

It'll be interesting to see whether High Voltage pulled off this Wiiware game.  Its obviously complete different from a FPS but its still indicative of their quality and competence.

I'm not sure "great" is the right word for that game.  While it certainly wasn't a turd, it seemed to fall more into the land of mediocrity.

Hmm I loved Gyrostarr.  Maybe you didn't play far enough into it.  The game doesn't pick up till about level 25 or so.

I'd say that's a pretty good argument against calling it "great".

There are 50 levels, the last 25 will make it great. Trust me.

The game just starts out too easy. But it has 4-player and thats awesome!

i don't regret buying it, but i would probably give it a 7 or so overall score. fun, but its just not fast enough and the levels weren't very different

Any game that takes 25 levels to grab you is a fail.  Thats at least 25 minutes of my life wasted.  Now Galaxies on the other hand grabs you on level 1 and gets even better as the game progresses.  Now that its down to 15 dollars or so, no shooter fan has an excuse not to try it.

So did anyone take the plunge on Hot Rods?  I'm tempted as it kind of reminds me of the classic Rock n Roll Racing...
