Here is what is on Wiiware and VC today
Today for Wiiware we get Strong Bad for 1000 points.
Break In for the Turbo Grafx-16 for 700 points. Which is a Billards game.
And Finally for the TurboGrafx16 CD-Rom Star Parodier for 900 points.
Well these are pretty solid titles.

i think its pretty funny they just talked about tg16 shooters on the podcast yesterday and here we go we get a parody of one.

Star Parodier is one of the best TG duo shooters, and Hudson had listed star parodier for today.

I definately recommend LoT, its a turbo duo game so it will be 214 blocks. LoT and Star Parodier are the two best Hudson published Turbografx/duo shooters. Star Parodier is 211 blocks.

Whats the BEST shooter on the VC?

I'm probably leaning towards LoT. Star Parodier looks awesome, but LoT looks fun too.

I've been asking this question for a long time, and I have yet to find a definitive answer. (Yes, opinions are definitive.)

The best ones are probably R-Type (TG-16) R-Type III (SNES), Gradius III (SNES), Lords of Thunder (TG-16).

Well Lords of Thunder has more of a megaman type of system where you can pick which armor to use(which yeilds different special powers) a shop to buy enhancements and a world/planet select. Where as star parodier is like a star solider game except you can play as bomberman, star soldier ship or the turbografx console and each stage is based on a game that hudson developed (yes even a tetris level). Star Parodier never came out in America so it's considered an import the US VC version is the Japanese version of the game so all the voice overs are Japanese.

The WiFi is for the Wiiconnect24 features, like sending e-mails and photos.

I've been playing Homestar Ruiner for the last 5 hours or so. It truly is incredibly cool. I really enjoyed the story and is quite ambitious.

The gameplay is what you would expect in a point and click title, meaning that you'll be doing a lot of searching, lots of trial and error and moments in which you have no idea what to do next. But once you figure out (and think like Strong Bad its greatly satisfying). The extra features are really nice and prove TellTale games went above and beyond with the game.

My only issues with the games are with the occasional glitch (like subtitles disappearing in a scene or Strong Bad's Homestar costume disappearing when he puts it on) and controlling Strong Bad with the pointer is a bit of a drag. But despite that, its a great game for Homestar Runner fans.

i downloaed Super star solider and got to the 8th level. Than my wiimote failed to work and nothing I did could let me 'home out' and my friends where their and wanted to play something else so i had to turn it off and lose all my data.

I heard about a code for SSS that lets you pick the level but that code works but that code isn't strait forward.

I completed the game a few hours ago and did not encounter any game killing glitches.

As I completed the game, I began to hope that each new episode is better than its predecessor. "Homestar Ruiner" was a great story and an awesome way to kick off the season. The "Free Strongbadia" teaser was very cool. If they can keep it up and each story is ambitious and fun we'll be in for something truly special.

Shyguy I heard if you play the game in widescreen mode it gliches. So you can change it to standard to fix it.

If you are talking about Strong Bad, around 5 hours. Much less if you speed run through the chapter.

This is the point, though. Once you combine all 5 episodes you have a 20 hour plus adventure.

Flames I plan on getting that. I grabbed Snk Arcade classics:Volume 1 recently and plan on getting The Samurai Shodown collection when it comes out.
