Yes Kairon it is cheap and good I just got to level 11. Here are my thoughts. Get to know the terrain and behavior of your enemies. So far I have encountered 3 different types of shots that you can use those you have limited time to use them. To get these weapons you have this cool grappling hook that you can grab these weapons and these blue blobs of energy that you need to fill a bar at the top of the screen you need that bar completely filled to go to the next stage. The music is techno So far I have heard 2 different songs in between stages 1-9 and on stage 10 there is all new music.On the bonus stages there is different music than the non bonus and there is no enemies just you and the stage.In these bonus stages you have to try to grab those blue energy things. You don't need to grab these but the next stage will be easier as the energy will carry over. Oh the game auto saves after each stage you beat. And I believe there are 50.

Another thing that I noticed is that you can take 3 hits but instead of 3 and your dead if you can survive long enough the life regenerates. Just a observation.

There was a game at Launch that HVS made called VIP:Casino. But yes Gyrostarr is very good. I made it up to level 24. Yay me.

The only games worth owning at launch was FF:MLAK,Lost Winds,POP and Defend your Castle. Do you Know how long VIP:Casino was in development?

Come on now, Brain Age was not a simple thing to do unlike card games like that. Brain Age has voice recognition and handwriting recognition not the best, but not something you can just copy.

Exactly, which is why if Brain Age took 4 months to do with 10 people, then I'd expect that V.I.P. Blackjack took less dedicated time.

I really like this game...it is well thought out and feels like a racing tempest. 

The best thing about this game is the thought put into balance.  not dying after being hit once is nice.  Multi-player and powerups works great with the grappling hook. 

To me the game really does feel like the next "geometry wars"  Although in a way it may actually be better.

is it just me or after 2-4 levels YOU HAVE TO STOP and take a break because its a bit to much for brain to swallow.

those bonus stages can really get fast, I own and beat F-zero GX and this game feels like F-zero GX when you were using turbo but for long periods of time. Fun, exciting but Wow thats a head rush.

What you should do is get one of those 100+ hour games that people tend to disappear for two weeks to play. Like The World Ends With You... I mean. Shoot. Sorry.

Is there a game version of the everlasting gobstopper? Seriously, I'd like to know.

There are a bunch of games on the PC that have infinite replay value. I never get tired of playing Civilization. I have a feeling Spore will be similar. Also, for me, Super Mario Bros. 3. I beat that game twice in the span of less than a week and still kept playing.

Insanolord you reminded me of a few more that I forgot Tales of Symphonia and Resident Evil 4. Also Ocarina of Time. Now that I think about it the N64 and GC eras have my most replayed games. Do you think that is because of less titles?

Vega I played through the first 10 stages and then I came on here and gave my impressions. After that I played till level 24 when I got stuck. The only time I said "whoa this is pretty fast" was level nineteen's bonus level but it was manageable. I can't wait to go back.

Anyone have Toki Tori AND Gyrostarr.....On the fence w/ both, its either one or the other.  I'm leaning towards Toki Tori...Any thoughts?
