Well I read the reviews and watched the videos, and I've sided with Kairon, I bought Protothea. I've bought both of this weeks Wii Ware games (I'm up to 5, but because of it I lost all but one of my 9 N64 games) and I haven't played either of them yet.

DAaman64 gifted me Ninja Gaiden and Blades of Steel and I got him Dr Mario. I remember when I was younger when the NES came out I couldn't get past the second boss well it seems I have improved a little I got to the level 3 boss. I don't recall on the Nes version when you lost all of your lives did you start at the same level you died on or did you start the entire game over?

I made it to the level 4 boss any tips and how do you do you that wall jump where you are on one side of the wall and you keep on climbing that same wall?

I assume you're asking about Ninja Gaiden. To wall climb, hold down the jump button and quickly press away from the wall and then towards it again. You should find yourself slightly higher each time you do that. It's worth practicing because it will be a required technique against certain bosses.

The fourth boss is the pair of demon dogs, right? It's relatively safe to stand below the pillars and just wait for them to come to you. They don't share the life bar, so observe which one loses hit points and concentrate on him.

Maxi, do yourself a favor. When you see the cut scene with the castle, pretend you won and turn of the game as fast as you can.

There are six acts. I was stuck on 6-2 for 2 weeks before I finally gave up completely.

Yes I beat 5-1! I am getting through this game slowly but steadily. One of the things I like about this game is the music. I particularly like Act 3 and Act 4.

I used to do that. I could get all the way to the next to last boss, but after he killed me, the game, in one of the most heinous examples of Nintendo hard sadism the world has ever seen, sent me back to the beginning of the act. This made it practically impossible to practice fighting the boss to figure out how to beat him. I didn't beat the game until college when I realized there were websites that listed Game Genie codes. I played it again recently using an emulator and save states to negate the problem entirely.

(Actually, I screwed up with the save states. When I finally beat that boss, I lost my last hit point at the same time I killed him, but I didn't die. I overwrote my save, then immediately died in the next fight. I had forgotten that your hit points carry over from one fight to the next, unlike your sub-weapon. I had to replay the whole act again, but funnily enough, when you get to the end, you don't have to fight any bosses you already beat, so I went into the final boss fight with the almighty Jump Slash. It was awesome.)

I think 5-3 is the place where you can get infinite 1-ups (or as many as you can carry, at least). You grab the 1-up, then go back down to the previous area, and when you climb back up, the 1-up will respawn. If you go up instead of down, it will not.

Other than that, I can't think of anything in particular about that stage to help you.

This VC games are import games Dig Dug as Rhoq pointed out is 600 points. While Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa is 600 points. BMBU is a 2-d platformer. One of the mechanics is reminiscent of Bubble Bobble in that you use a item to make enemies lift up in the air to reach high platforms and you can push those enemies into bosses and other enemies.I am not sure if Dig Dug made it to the states in this form as a nes title so I would hold off on downloading it till someone finds out. The only other title is My Pokemon Ranch for 1000 points.

I wouldn't download Dig Dug even if it were 500 points because I already have it for the XBox Live Arcade and it's available on numerous "Namco Museum" compilation game discs.

But...600 points is an outrageous price for this game and, yes, it was released in the US. Definitely not an "import" title.
