I'd rather not even attempt to explain it, let's say it is a religious thing but something I am not too sure about.

It's not anything like that, as a Christian I can respect his views and understand where he is coming from, but I also think he is a little more adamant about it than I am. The thing is he isn't one who says he thinks it is wrong for everyone to play video games, just he himself won't support them in any way.

How easy are Wii points cards to get in the US? Here most stores don't carry them and those who do add 3-5 Euros on the 20 Euro price.

Most stores seem to carry them with the 19.99 price tag. I have never had a problem find them in the upper left corner of US that is Washington.

I think only the major retailers carry WiiPoints cards here. The big box stores, and of course Gamestop. I think Gamestop and a few others jack the price up a dollar or a couple cents. They'd don't make any profit on them, so I sort of understand the reluctance to carry them, or keep them at MSRP.

One time I actually bought a Wii Points card from Amazon.com! I got an entire dollar off the MSRP (it was a sale) and bought Tomb Raider Wii, so I got free shipping on my order. I felt really good about getting $20 worth of Wii Points for $19!

Ha!, arund here Wii Points cards are $24.99 for the 2000 points, total rip off. To be Fair stores here over charge for MS Points and for Cell Phone cards as well so it's not limited to Wii, one store even had the Wii Points priced at $21.99 and marked as on sale!

And to Maxi, I didn't take it that way but I no that I do tend to defend my brother a lot even when his views are unpopular. He is a complicated man, hard to swallow at first (no cum jokes ok) so anyways yeah like I said it is hard to explain.

I didn't intend it in a inflammatory way. I was just saying that at he lets others enjoy an activity that he doesn't. That's all. Also I didn't respond because I fell asleep I haven't slept since the day before yesterday. I played in that Mario Kart tournament and played vs. Mario. I don't like to kick people when they are down. Just think if you were in that situation would you want that?of course not!
As for Wii points card prices when VC came out places like Walmart and Gamestop charged $24.99 but they have got the correct prices now.

well we don't have Wal-Mart yet, the one we have is not that far away, but at $4.00 a gallon and I drive a big van that gets like less than 20MPG it is too far away to drive to save a couple of pennies.

not from one town to the next. The Wal-Mart is in Jerome, I live in Filer, I have to go through Twin Falls to get to Jerome, too much hassle. And no Twin Falls is much to small to justify any form of public transportation.

Bah, the only store in my town that used to sell Wii points cards (at 21 Euros but still not too bad compared to others) doesn't have any again, same for the store in the neighboring city that used to have them at 20 (same chain actually). I think Gamestop doesn't sell the cards at all... I wonder if they're just sold out and slow to replace or they stopped selling them...

I have been able to find Wii Point Cards at most stores in Texas that sell Video Games.

Best Buy, Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, Gamestop, Circuit City, ect...and almost always they are priced at $19.99...though I have gotten into the habit of just buying my points via the shop channel.

I prefer to but them from the Shop Channel because I am always scared someone at the store found a way to get the numbers off my card and when I get home it will not work. I am over paranoid about stuff like that.

Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars is coming to the Japanese VC next month. Can a US release be far behind? All signs point to yes.

I suppose that games that come out in Japan usually don't take that long to come here. Be wary when a good game comes out in Europe before America, though. It may never show up here.

Well they won't be able to do that if the card is in the original foldwrap with the Nintendo stripe running through it, right?

Like I said it is mostly paranoia, but Somehow I suspect someone can or will find a way to see past those little strips.

I'm not sure I want it anymore if they're going to charge more for it. I'm sure it's worth it for that price, it looks like a great game, but Wii points are Wii points, and apart from import prices they shouldn't vary. This must be how Europeans feel all the time.
