Well, actually the marketing department of Sony Computer Entertainment was a bunch of mindless jerks who were the first against the wall when the Wii arrived :P

Yeah, this is a disappointing week for me since I have no interest in Dr. Mario. No Toki Tori, no Protothea, no Gyrostarr, nothing from Nintendo on the VC.

I'd kinda like to get Metal Slug, but don't Neo Geo games not work with component cables on the VC? :/

Who told you that? I have World Heroes and I only use the component cables and it runs fine for me.

I've used Baseball Stars 2 with component cables just fine.

The one good thing about this week is that between Wii Ware and the VC we got 4 games this week. They may not be games I care much about but we got a good number of them. The grub's not great, but the portions are terrific!

I really love Dr. Mario.  It was worth the 10 dollar purchase...I really want to know if Family Table Tennis is good...I have to wait for a review of that one.

Thank you shammack. My internet was down. So I couldn't update. Has anybody played City Connection? And isn't it a bit redundant to have Metal Slug when it is on Wii and GBA?

Seriously the whole of Virtual Console makes no sense by that logic.

The VC poll results this month are as follows.
Reader picks
1.Earthbound
2.Mother
3.Super Mario RPG
4.Chrono Trigger
5.Majoras Mask
Not much change as far as games but Mother moved up to number 2. I was watching a video walkthrough of Chrono Trigger and I will purchase it when it comes out.
Staff picks
1.The Wily Wars
2.Terranigma
3.Super Mario All-Stars
4.Super Punch-Out!!
5.Super Mario RPG
What is Terranigma?

That's ... odd.  ;)  But yes, Chrono Trigger is my favorite sixteen bit RPG.  It's super-duper awesome.

What is Terranigma?

Terranigma is an SNES RPG by Enix that was never released it America.  It got a European release, so it's been fully translated to English, but it's never made it to our shores.  It's fairly highly sought after, and from what I understand a pretty good game.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Vudu, I was just watching it to to get a feel for the game. I will probably forget most of it so it will be essentialy new.:) I will also look forward Terranigma as well.:)

I never had Chrono Trigger on SNES, but I had that and the sequel on PS1 and never finished either one. But that was mostly because I didn't own a PS1 I was borrowing my brother-in-laws system and when he 'discovered' that video games are evil, he threw all his games in the trash and I never got to finish it.

You can't talk about Terranigma without also mentioning Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia, which are both fairly awesome.

Rat why did he think they were evil? A odd thing to think of video games.

I'd rather not even attempt to explain it, let's say it is a religious thing but something I am not too sure about.
