EA's E3 press conference reveals the latest entry in the Sims franchise. http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=16359 EA's press conference today at E3 has revealed a new title for Wii and DS that is also a part of the Sims series. Unlike most other Sims games that feature people, SimAnimals will feature over 60 different animal species for the player to interact with.
Players will interact with the various animals in their natural environments and form relationships with them through a variety of moves. The on-screen animated hand allows you to reach out and touch, pickup, or move everything from bears to foxes to trees to flowers.
Each of the forest animals has a role to play, and players can solve challenges and unlock new areas of the forest in order to meet new creatures. Players will also be able to experience the game with up to three other friends on the Wii in the cooperative play mode.
SimAnimals will be available exclusively for the Wii and DS January of next year.
