It's now $14.99 at both Gamestop.com and the IGN Online game store.

If you don't have this amazing game, BUY IT.  There's no longer any excuse.

Darn, I got it for $20 at Best Buy.

Oh well, it was still a good deal.

I'm one of those people that rented the game several times to beat it.  Yes!  I saved $40 in renting rather than buying it.  But now, I'm pondering getting it...

At $U.S.15 it's DAMN cheap, and well worth checking out,but admittedly it's not my kind of game. If you haven't played it, I'd still rent it first though before buying, as the game really does cater to a niche audience demographic.

I found the fighting controls a bit awkward (not as bad a Resident evil though!), and the gameplay lacked any real fun, but as I said, phyco thrillers aren't my kind of game, and I only bought it because of the stella reviews - you might love it!

Maybe Nintendo is trying to create a sales surge so that Silicon Knights don't feel too bad about it's relatively low sales?

I just wish all publishers would DRAMATICALY slash prices of games a year after release! I know my bank balance would be a lot higher!

Yes, Oz_Joker is right.  The game caters to a rather small audience who plays video games.  Rent it first to see if you like it.  And rent it somewhere cheap for a day or two.

This game definitely isn't for casual gamers.  You have to sit down and really get into the game and the story.  I found the combat system to be fairly straight foward though.  I actually ran through the game the first time using mostly swords and the occasional enchant spell or recover spell, so it's not that bad of a system.  The magic system is pretty involved in this game though, and I'm playing through all three runes a second time to try to get the hang of it this time around (I'm also playing through it again with no sanity, just to see all the effects).  I'd say the game as a whole is very involving and time consuming, but hey, if you're into that kind of game, then $15 is almost like stealing this game.
