Of course, if you hadn't posted that picture in the first place, none of this further discussion would have happened with you then having to defend the picture and make more unnecessary comments. It's a snowball effect. As soon as someone makes a comment about you or a post, it becomes a long chain of further posts as you have to keep coming back over and over to defend or explain yourself. Just let it go.
People made comments about Ian Sane all the time but I can't recall any time where he retaliated and called other people names or made seperate threads to attack them or kept harping on them or complaining about other posters not helping him be a better poster. Other people made threads about him or against him and attacked him and they are all pretty much gone and he's still here. Yes, he has the tendency to repeat himself. I've noticed it and most people have but at least he stays on point and he'll back up his statements but not to the point of going extreme.
And while some of this is directed at you pokepal, some of this advice is for other posters who are involved in this nonsense so don't start thinking you have to make some more posts arguing it or defending yourself which is another problem. You ask for advice and then question/disagree with it. Advice is just suggestions from other people's experiences for you to think about it. You don't have to follow it if you don't want to but that doesn't mean you need to make a big production out of not following it either.
The post is not that funny though, so..point for improvement?
I know, right? That's what I mean about this whole inane situation of a few people taking up the attention of everybody. I've said my peace on the matter and now I'm going back to ignoring them all which might be the advice for everyone else who's tired of it also. If you'd quit focusing on them, they'd have less to say and reply to.
No one has to be the forum janitor and clean up this mess. Except the moderators. Ha ha. Now, let's bring back the silly.
