"Notably, this can restore the original camera controls to Sunshine from the 2002 GameCube release."

Why on God's green earth would anybody want to do that? The horizontal controls being backwards is one of the single largest reasons the Cube one is completely unplayable.

You have it backwards. The controls on the GameCube version was good, the camera controls and FLUDD controls on the Switch version are why I haven't played this one as much. Inverted controls feel more natural

I never understood the appeal of Minecraft. I tried playing it and was so bored with it. I'm sure the kids who enjoy the game will like this, but I couldn't care less. At least it's not another Fire Emblem character.

Importantly, the controls in Sunshine have been deinverted. They did not make it an option, however, so if you like the original controls, it’s your turn to be annoyed like the rest of us have for 18 years.

What is with Nintendo and NOT providing that option?  I was going to pick up Luigi's Mansion until I found out it was plagued by the same issue.

It's taking me some time getting used to. Inverted controls feel normal with the game, so them reversing this feels weird. I've messed up a few times because i'm used to pushing up on the left analog stick to aim down with FLUDD. If they wanted to change the default option, I could live with that. But why not let players choose if they want it inverted or not?

It's weird, I work at a major Walmart and we got no copies in at all (it's not even in our system). Maybe it depends on the area you live in. I ended up having to get it at Target.

I'm still enjoying replacing Mario 64 and Sunshine though (i'm waiting for my JoyCons to be fixed by Nintendo, so I can't touch Galaxy yet).

It seems Nintendo doesn't want people to get the physical copy of the game. It's not available at Walmart in stores or online (I work at a major Walmart, and we never even got it in stock). When you try to order it from GameStop, it's not available in stores. Target seems to have it, but many other places don't. I know it's a limited release, but they seem to not want people to buy it at all.

Yeah, sure. Never did finish the bonus content in 3D world, and the game will be better without the GamePad.

Not having the GamePad will make it worse, the GamePad really enhanced the game.

I might still get it since I loved the game. I finished most of the bonus content, but not all because I ended up getting frustrated with how hard some of them were (and I am at the point where I won't bother playing if I am getting more frustrated than joy from playing)

but you have to imagine traditional controls have to be a part of this port, because otherwise this game becomes completely unplayable in handheld mode and that shuts out the Switch Lite auduence. Mario's too big a property for that.

Welllllllllllllllllll, about that.......

Well. ****. Guess I'm not buying the collection, then, unless I can get a pretty good deal. Was really hoping to actually be able to relax when playing Mario Galaxy this time. My wrist isn't what it used to be, nor is my back. Leave it to Nintendo to take the easy route.

I played plenty of Galaxy back in the day, you don't need to worry. You barely have to move your wrist to do it.

I don't get the hate about this collection. Could it be better? Sure. But it's still a good deal, and I am glad to be able to play Super Mario Sunshine again since the game is going for around $70 for a used copy. And I know the game has its haters, but it's a pretty good game.

I understand why they do it, and it's not really gonna effect a lot of people, but it still sucks. What I especially think sucks is that anyone who does own the Wii U version won't be able to buy the DLC if they don't own it. At least they try to make the Switch version more appealing by adding additional content other than just the DLC (in the form of additional side missions).

58
And EVO becomes even more useless. Kinda hard to call yourself a credible fighting tournament without having the best selling fighting game of all time.

The Cooking Mama games may not be exciting, but they are well made. At least the ones Office Create did. The balls on Planet Entertainment to not only be willing to put out a game that they knew was ****, but to do so after being told they had no legal right to do so? How stupid is the management at Planet Entertainment? Any half decent lawyer is gonna kick their ass.

60
I like the idea, but I have no interest in like 2/3 of the games on it.

And it's funny seeing the generic names they come up with some of the games in it, like Renegade (Go), Four-in-a-Row (Connect Four), and Yacht Dice (Yahtzee).

61
I think it should be pointed out that right now they have a license deal ONLY with the NFL, not the NFLPA. That means that it could have the team names and logos, but not the players (but since any game would be at least a year away, they still have time to reach a deal with the NFLPA).

I couldn't care less about the terraforming features, I don't think that is needed. However, I am excited for the game and look forward to it.

I always think it's BS when the retail copy is just a download code. If i'm buying the retail version, it's because I want the physical copy. If I want to download it, i'll buy the digital copy.

BTW, I also think it's BS when they charge full price for the digital copy. They are saving a lot of money with the digital copy, so they should pass the savings on to us instead of just using that to make extra profit.

I'm very disappointed in this announcement. The Fire Emblem series is already over-represented in Smash as it is. The game has 7 FE characters, we don't need an 8th. There are so many better choices, both first party and third party.

I'm still early in the game, but I like it. I don't like how the beginning of the game drags though, stopping me so often (like telling me to meet me somewhere, then stopping me like 3 times on the way there). It also seems to be a little too easy thanks to the mandatory Exp. Share. I JUST got the Dynamax ring from the professor and I already have my entire team at Level 8 or higher (my Scorbunny is Level 12). It made me laugh when Leon said his brother gave me a challenge, I wiped out his 3 Pokemon with no difficulty at all. And I am surprised that with how much hand holding they do, they give you the Dynamax ring and then don't tell you how to use it. All Leon says is you can use it after meeting certain conditions in battle (without explaining that).

I do like some of the Quality of Life improvements though, like telling me if my moves will be effective against the other Pokemon, or being able to easily learn moves that my Pokemon could have learned (i.e. if you catch a Pokemon that is level 30, you could have it learn a move it knew at level 5).

I didn't mind it with Polterpop, but E. Gadd got annoying. He did not want me going to any room but his, because he kept bitching about how long it was taking me to get to his room.

Good. Since I don't have Nintendo Switch Online, I haven't played the game since I beat the single player mode (Nintendo requires a subscription to download levels).

Could you sign up for the free trial and download as many as you can before cancelling it?

The only reason I haven't signed up for it is because I don't have Internet at home right now, so I wouldn't get much use out of it. Eventually I will

I WANT to enjoy beat em ups, but I always get bored after like 10 minutes LOL. I think that's why i've never beaten one, because I just lose interest after a few minutes

I call BS on them claiming it is supposed to be optional to have a Bethseda.net account, I think they are backtracking after they got massive backlash on it (and rightfully so).

I didn't like how every weapon breaks in the first game, even rare weapons broke really quickly. It's honestly the reason I ended up abandoning the game (I enjoyed the world). If they keep that for the next Zelda game, I might just pass on it altogether.

74
I can understand not letting SMM2 levels back to SMM, but I see no reason you couldn't move them forward. Nintendo even allowed that on the Game Boy Color when you could send Pokemon from Generation I to Generation II.

75
I am glad to get more games on Switch, but this is just lazy and/or greedy of Capcom. Porting a 18 year old game to the Switch? Why not port the HD collection? This better be less than $10.
