The cryo-tube is actually an interdimensional portal to his frozen palace of hatred.
The only way to keep him in is by buying merchandise blessed by the Disney executives.

Transformers 2
(brain off) - 8.5/10
(brain on) - 4.5/10

IF you take this movie for what it was, make a quite a few assumption about whats going on and ignore some obviously bad cuts, this movie is a great action flick with some bad-ass fighting scenes between robots and funny dialog from both the robots and humans. Reasons you need to shut off the brain and just enjoy it: (*spoilers*)Right from the beginning in the first 2minutes you have no idea what the hell is going on because there are some overcomplicated robot transformations going on and things are moving too fast to really see anything. Lots of things that happen in the movie leave it up to you to assume this or assume that because they sure didn't show it(bad cuts); like one scene where Shia & Co. are dropped through a roof in a car, a robot lands looking at them in the car but when he(the robot) stands up Megan and the other guy are upstairs. how did they get up there so quickly. There is also a scene where a hot girl is a Decepticon and seduces Shia but apparently her skin is soft even though it's made of cold hard steel. Or when Shia is standing on Optimus' chest, who suddenly jumps to his feet but Shia is safely on the ground next to him, I assume he jumped off, but it didn't look like he had time. There are plenty of things (some big, mostly small) & I could probably go on about them but I was trying to just enjoy the movie, which I did.

Repeat after me. "It's just a show, I should really just relax."
You're overthinking a summer action movie

I'm getting close to finishing the story mode. Has anyone tried multiplayer? How does that even work, and is it fun?

Ehh, I tried it against bots and with a friend. The multiplayer is fairly average. Its not bad, but it probably could've been better. I do have quite a bit of fun with some of it, but the capture the host mode... I don't enjoy it.

I do enjoy on-rail shooters when they are done well. I'll have to check this out.

I got Geist recently, and I am glad I did. The puzzles make sense, although some of the layout could've been more intuitive. The possessions of non-humans are enjoyable, and the fact that some of the earlier sections allow for a semi-stealthy approach (pretend to be an enemy) is very enjoyable. The story is of decent quality, although I'm still very early in the game, and the voice acting is fairly good. I wouldn't classify it as horror, as much as First Person Action/Puzzle. Overall, this is a very enjoyable game.

Hurm. I remember this had a  lot of fanfare, but didn't flesh out some of the more interesting aspects. The EB Games near my house has a copy for $5, I should pick it up.

Also, ask him what the finished product would have been like if it had more time to be developed and polished.

I'm new as well. I recently got Scribblenauts, and the Conduit. I spend a good a mount of time on my PC and WoW, but I do really like my Wii.
RFN is what introduced me to the site.

A price drop will help sales, especially near the holidays, even if it isn't really a price drop.

I am overwhelmed by this mountain of CASUAL CRAP.

And a bunch of items are slated for 2010, making it misleading.

Yes, because you are "TEH HARDCORZ"

This is fairly interesting. There are some good titles on that list.

Exclusive artwork, eh?
A wall-poster seems likely, but some High Quality prints could also be possible.
Who knows?

That was CoD:WaW every version except the Wii one. :(

I hope they do add it in though, it sounds fun. If they can add every single online feature (including voice chat) and the DLC that COD4 got in other versions PLUS a zombie mode then this will be a must buy for Wii FPS fans who don't already own the game.

That would be the only time I would consider buying this cash-grab of a game.

Pretty neat deal.
