Downloadable Radio Trivia returns!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/radiotrivia/13192

You asked for it, so here it is! Enjoy this week's Radio Trivia how you want it, when you want it, because NWR's Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition is back with the first "official" episode. We decided to keep the format introduced in our pilot episode, so surely you already have something to complain about in TalkBack.

Here's how it works. Download the MP3. Listen to it. We'll play three songs from a game that was released on a Nintendo platform, which could be a game on any system from the NES to the Wii. After the first two songs, we'll ask you a question about that game, which will serve as either a hint for those that don't know what the game is, or a challenge for those that already do. After we play the third song, we'll reveal the game, the answer to the question, and chat a bit about the game before moving on. Just as in live Radio Trivia, there are five games in all.

Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition is a test against yourself. How much video game music do you know? This is how you can find out. Even if you don't know one tune from another, you can still enjoy some great game music and learn a little about the best-sounding games ever made. It's a win-win for everyone!

Bomberman Generations is no where near as good as Bomberman 64.  Not one bit.  At least single player-wise.  Ranking the multiplayer is a bit more difficult.

You're better off playing the Oracle games on the advance-type Game Boys, because they have shops only accessible on the GBA systems, solely as encouragement for the player to buy a GBA.

Edit:  I forgot about spoiler tags.
And if you like Goldeneye's multiplayer, you should check out what they've hacked and created over at http://www.rarewitchproject.com/
It's amazing that they've created a level editor and such over there.

More podcasts. I wonder when all reviews, previews and news will come only as podcasts.

I loved Bomberman 64! both the SP and MP were great... I never got all the gold cards though... sad story: lent the cart to a friend a couple of years ago and haven't got it back .... and I miss it

EDIT(forgot to comment on the thing XD): I did like the experiment (and knew most of the songs! ), but I kind of prefer the normal RT.... more exciting if you will

I apologize for this being in mono, guys.  Something funky happened with my recording and, even though it was recording stereo tracks, they were from a mono-mix feed.

I should have guessed 3 games, but I only guessed New Adventure Island, I've played TLoZ OoS/A and Extreme G3 but I completely missed them.
Btw Extreme G3 was awesome, it was quite easy when compared to F-Zero GX.

We now have the MP3 RSS feed up and available.  We'll get the AAC flavor up soon.

Bad news.

I think this episode is lost to the Annals of time. : C the download for the MP3 is dead and the player isn't working... maybe it's still on iTunes? I dunno. because I don't have iTunes. that program is a horrible piece of Bloatware.

Actually, iTunes is not bad. And yes, the great thing about iTunes is that Episode 1 IS still on iTunes (and is Episode 0, released a month earlier).

You also don't need iTunes to get it. I just checked in my podcast app, Downcast, which pulls the xml feeds of podcasts, and it showed this episode as available. I don't know what platforms you use, but if you find a dedicated podcast application you should be able to find these kinds of things.
