Nintendo Gaming / Splinter Cell or Hitman 2?
« on: May 31, 2003, 09:59:34 AM »
well..Hmm...Hitman 2 is really...NOTHING like MGS. But I'd give it way more replay value than splinter cell. A few rents should do you fine for both games if you ask me.

Nintendo Gaming / CUBE Bundle?
« on: May 01, 2003, 06:30:55 AM »
I was just going through the mail here at work and I found something I thought was pretty cool.

I'm not sure if this is already common knowledge, but Futureshop (At least here in Nova Scotia) is selling the GC bundled with ZWW and RE0 for $227.99CA

A pretty good deal if you've got the cash and no GC

TalkBack / EA Reveals Need For Speed Underground
« on: April 30, 2003, 09:46:36 AM »
I am insulted by your comments! =p

Need for Speed on the 3DO was my favourite racing game of all time. I bought the SE version for my comp that year. Woo woo. Need for Speed HAS gone down hill, but the original was genius.

Let's see what EA can do with this new addition

Nintendo Gaming / what does everyone think of the tingle tuner?
« on: April 10, 2003, 07:32:24 AM »
The tingle tuner was a great idea.
WW is already a game people will sit and watch you play for hours, but with the link, there's a lot more to it.

When I first got WW my buddy Steve chilled as Tingle and we played for hours like that. Some of Tingles comments are quite funny =)

A good timem overall

TalkBack / Metroid Prime 2 Poll at Nintendo.com
« on: April 09, 2003, 04:44:05 AM »
Multiplayer wouldn't work for Prime because of the lock-on feature.

BUT, I'm sure they'd be able to find a way around this with a few changes in the control scheme.

You people worry too much.

Nintendo Gaming / Would you want these games for Gamecube LAN?
« on: April 08, 2003, 08:21:21 PM »
I'm blaming that on EA since Westwood no longer exists. Curse those gremlins.

Generals doesn't even have characters anymore! WHY...dear god....

Nintendo Gaming / Metroid vs Zelda
« on: April 08, 2003, 03:30:18 AM »
I wouldn't say that metroid's puzzles were that difficult. It was just a challenge to actually find the damn things once and a while. I'd give this one to Zelda.

58
WW was definatly not rushed.

That's my only comment.

Nintendo Gaming / One Problem with Wind Waker
« on: March 28, 2003, 04:34:46 PM »
The blurry effect is for framerate purposes I'm thinking. It allows for the INSANE draw distance and still a playable game

Nintendo Gaming / My LOZ:WW experience
« on: March 27, 2003, 10:11:27 PM »
I will sit by myself and cry when I finish this game.

I will not love another game like this.

It will be tough for Nintendo to top anything like this. =/

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda Lives Up to Hype and More...
« on: March 27, 2003, 09:57:46 PM »
It is sad that everyone is going to check out IGN's review of this game and automatically dismiss it for Game of the Year. This game IS the game of the year. It kills Metroid Prime. It kills Splinter Cell.

I have not been this truly happy playing a Nintendo game since I got Super Mario World on SNES.

Nintendo Gaming / Still Smashing?
« on: March 26, 2003, 06:06:15 AM »
Oy. While I haven't played smash in a few weeks myself, everynight there are guys in here playing my cube and having a great time with that game. A-1 my friends.

Hahahah guys, this dude seems a bit fishy. Maybe he's just trying to get a rise out of you all.

I wouldn't be surprised if this guy didn't even have a GC.

Does anyone know if the game is in stores now? Or do I have to wait until Thursday like I've heard from a few friends. We have 3 pre-orders to pick up....

Nintendo Gaming / Burnout 2: Point of Impact
« on: February 13, 2003, 05:53:45 PM »
Ah yes, the infamous timed-exclusive. Well then. Looks like we've got a good game coming either way. The screen shots are impressive and if it's even only on par with the original it'll be a good game.

By the way...Does anyone have the sales numbers for Burnout? (On GC of course)

True that. So it's already out on PS2? I guess that's the way it usually is.
