Thanks Khush. I just got home and was wondering what to with all the conversations going on.

I'm going to start the star totaling process. First I'm going to post everyone's end-game totals and give the 'victory' award out to the surviving townies. Then comes the interesting task of calculating the winners of the bonus stars. I believe there are close to 10 bonus star achievements to be awarded. Then I can declare a true winning side and the sole Superstar Player to receive the victory prize. Truth be told I'm still pretty sure that the Townies have the star total in the bag. The mafia missed a lot of their chances to make an impact by not sending in their actions and a couple of their last would-be moves could have drastically changes the game if they had done it a turn earlier.

I'm also going to disclose what everyone rolled each day and the values I gave to things. I'd really appreciate a good deal of feedback from you all about how the game went and what you liked/disliked and how I could have done things differently.

I personally enjoyed interacting with the players in the PMs because I was trying to be both helpful and cryptic at the same time. I had my secrets to keep

Plus writing the story was a blast (a little too much at times when I almost wrote the drunken Tumble recruitment scene). Was hard to come up with quality story on the fly but I think it was pretty good for a first go.

Truth be told I'm exhausted right now so I'll finish the star awards in the morning.

2 = Red Space -Negates vote in final tally the following day
4 = Ballot Box- Can change vote of another player
6 = Protection Space - Protected from nightly hit
8 = Investigator Space - Can perform an investigation
10 = Blue Space- Player's vote count is doubled
12 = Star Space- Get a Star

I had the same idea on dice rolls Unclebob. If your total is true than I was lucky with the 1st day dice roll. I got a star and only 10 coins. I tried to figure out the coin totals based on what abilitys everyone got. Trying to find townies using the coin system.
A Star got you no extra coins. I think the investigate space got you 8 extra coins. Blue space either got you 10 extra coins or no extra coins.
Red Space got you no extra coins or any coins at all that day.
Protection space I think got me 6 extra coins. No idea on Ballot box as I didn't get one but I'm going to say you get 4 extra coins.

Oh I had a question the last day that I don't think was correct in the answering.I just want to double check.

I had a red space the last day with 2 stars. I was thinking of going the suicidal route and get myself voted out to preserve my star total.

My question was if I was voted out could my stars be stolen via Boo or Mafia hit?

I got a response from Mop it up since she was helping with the rules and this whole Mafia game was her idea. I want to know if they sync up.

I must protest. A day includes the vote and night actions. Hence Day 2 would begin after day and night actions. If you don't want to roll the dice again for the new day, that's understandable but the night actions should count. That's like ending Mario Kart Mafia on the last day after the vote but not including the night actions. The night actions can affect the final standings.

To argue it a better way, take the last turn of a Mario Party round. The game doesn't end after every player moves around the board. There is still a mini-game to play. 2 parts to every turn. In this game, our voting and sending in night actions is like our rolling dice and moving around the board. But our night actions are like the minigame we play after. And I've played some games where that last mini-game can determine the winner whether it be the coin star award, mini-game award or coins for a tiebreak. Likewise, including the night actions from the end of Day 6 is just as neccessary. Nay, essential to carrying on the spirit of a Mario Party game.

Therefore, I submit to you to include the Boo actions.

Well, I was going back and forth on it even when I made the decision. And I realize that Boo is probably more of a 'twilight' action because he takes your coins and steals a star before the mafia hit occurs. Not quite a day action and not quite a night action either.

I'll reconsider it as I go over stuff.

I'm a little thrown off because I got in a car wreck yesterday on top of the internet issues. Car may or may not be declared totaled because it is an older car. So I may need some extra time to declare a SIP Winner. I apologise in advance for the delay.

Thanks. No one got hurt. It was my fault. I let myself get distracted by my gf and didn't notice in time that the car in front of me got cut off by someone else so she abruptly stopped and it was wet so I skidded and hit her. I was going about 30mph so the damage wasn't terribly bad, but my car 'lost'. She only got some got scratches on her bumper. No injuries. And I have insurance so I'm covered there. I'm half wondering if I want my car to be totaled. I have a steady job and might be able to put a down payment on a new car with the insurance money.

Oh nuts. I thought I had changed my Boo bid to GP. Dang it. Figures. The one time I don't target the mafia player getting voted out, I miss the biggest star count of them all. Out of curiousity and when you get the time, I was just wondering why I was robbed two stars on Day 5. How did you arrange the star theivery?

Hmm Khush stole one of my stars last night. Wow I ended up tieing in Star total with Mop it up the person who thought up of the game but I had the most coins.Wow.

When I was looking at the discriptions to the Bonus stars earlier today I was unsure of what they were.

Most Private I thought was about keeping to oneself the most. However it ended up being Most PMs to Stratos. See everybody asking questions can make you a star this game.Most of My PMs were questions and I might of commented on the abiltys I had.I think I used the store once to buy 1 star after I got one of my stars stolen.

The Jibber Jabber is interesting.Did you count posts about the game in other parts of the forum other than the Mafia forum Stratos?

Had I not vote for GP on the last day I might of not gotten a star that day.See even if you have a red space it can be good to vote.

The rest of the stars were up to chance so I didn't have a direct effect on them.

Khush stole one of your stars the first time and GP stole 2 from Khush the other time.

I determined how many stars were stolen by rolling dice. One dice per potential star that could be stolen. In Khushs case since I believe he had 4 at the time I rolled three dice since three was the maximum amount you can steal at once. I just made 1-3 no theft and 4-6 yes theft and if all said no I'd still steal one star.

The Boo Bids: Khush and GPs were for 10 each and Khush's second was 14.

It's interesting to see how the team divisions went down because a good deal of the townies voted every day. The mafia sometimes failed to vote or failed to even PM their actions in. Nickmitch only used his power once and it alone could have changed the game.

I knew I should have posted more.  I just didn't want to troll any more than I had.  I also should have kept up my deluge of PMs.  I could have won three stars, then a fourth with my cash, but instead ended with one.  That's too bad

But yeah, my post-game activity was mostly to try to remain in the running for the bonus stars, if no one else had that figured out.  I just couldn't keep up with Maxi's triple posting attitude. =P

I s'pose it is only fitting that Maxi beat me by two coins. In the Mario Party games themselves, I usually end up losing to something stupid like the bonus stars. Oh well, congratulations Maxi. I can't say you don't deserve it.

I thought there would be a bonus star for the person who had the highest coin count at any given time like in the games themselves, so I saved all my coins until the final day. And to be clear, the bonus stars were all Stratos, so I had no advance knowledge of them.

Really? Did I tell you that? I looked over the data and I must have just accidentally sent you a similar post to the one GP got. I'm amazed I didn't screw up that stuff more than I did. I think there were at least two times people had to correct me on totals I sent them. Thankfully I didn't send out incriminating data to the wrong person. I almost did that to khush because I was copy-pasting the same answer and just changing the values but then I almost forgot to change the name on the post. That's why after day one I stopped putting names in the daily rolls just in case.

I kept all of my 'secret' data from Mop it up. Bonus Stars, Roll values and the likes.
