Sega's revenues totaled $638.44 million, a decline of 16 percent from last year. They also suffered a net loss of $108.66 million in the first quarter, slightly lower than the net loss of $111.19 million that the company reported a year prior.
Sega has also revealed sales figures for their two latest titles, The Conduit and Virtua Tennis 2009. The company reported that 150,000 copies of The Conduit have been sold in North America and Europe. Virtua Tennis 2009 managed to be a bigger success for Sega, selling a total of 790,000 copies across Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in North America and Europe. The company has not reported platform-specific sales numbers for VT2009.
Sega sold a total of 2.65 million copies of software worldwide in the first quarter. Across all platforms, they sold the most software on Wii, with 550,000 copies sold.
