This list includes: a new mini-game collection, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. 4, Endless Ocean, Pikmin, Kirby, a new Zelda collection, Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario., Dead Rising 2, Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5 "or something that looked like it," Silent Hill Downpour, a new Suda51 game that is "not No More Heroes" but is about "something hunting demons," "some mech game," Trauma Center: Current Crisis, Soul Calibur, Tekken, GTA V, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, "some Metal Gear Solid game where you play as a girl," "some cyber punk game" that looks like Snatcher, Gradius, Contra, Castlevania, and "Fallout 3 or 4."

It mentioned Contra and game that looked like Snatcher.

The next day Contra was teased at the Konami conference and if you watched the conference closely you will notice something else.

As you can see by the previous update, some of those statements have proven themselves true (Contra & Snatcher specifically) but he kinda loses some credibility with the Zelda Universe comment, although it could be refered to that as some sort of code name until official announcement....

Some have suggested that Nintendo will stick with the enthusiasm for their last console and name the new machine the Wii 2 or Wii HD. Other sites, including Game Informer, have commonly referred to the system as Nintendo HD. Another popular rumor suggests that this next-gen system will be called Nintendo Stream, partly due to the supposed ability of the system to stream info to its own controllers. This idea is at least partially supported by the purported presence of a six-inch touchscreen on the primary controller, which would presumably receive data directly from the core console.

Of course, it's unlikely we'll know for sure until Tuesday morning's Nintendo press briefing. Even so, new variations are still emerging on the name even this late in the process. The most recent reports Game Informer is hearing, just two days before the show? It's possible the final name will be just a single word that everyone is already familiar with.

Current is a TV channel i watch on occasion. It has a good show on it called Vanguard. There is a channel called We, but I never watch it.


as for Nintendo. They will have to make a new franchise. Not because they need to, but because the're current Franchises are tied up. Im thinking Nintendo is devoting its Mario Resources to 3DS, and its Zelda Resources to Wii. So to fill the void they will have to make a new franchise. That is probably what Current is.
Also, current might use heart monitor tech. If the system (which we all hope) is going to has power behind it than what are they going to use it on if Mario and Zelda are tied up? Nintendo usually creates its new franchises at the beginning of a systems life. Some are big, some are tiny. There was Pikmin on GCN, and Miis on Wii. Also, didn't Miyamoto say he was interested in making his own Survival Horror?

Michel Ancel has confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel to Beyond Good & Evil will not be released on the current generation of home consoles.

3rd parties were showing off Café games yesterday and that is why they weren't naming platforms... Just vague 2012 release dates.

I was already pretty certain FarCry 3 was going to make it to the Cafe. What I didn't know is that it'll be the definitive console for the game. This is great news.

I was addicted to FarCry 2 despite its faults (and there are many of them), so i'm already glad to see they get another shot at making what I think could be the most creative/badass FPS in a long time.

Rewatched the trailer and all the buttons are white. Also, at one point it tells you to press the right stick in to perform a takedown. That doesn't sound like Nintendo.
