Because ITS Box can hold 1.6 Wiis Which is probably 54 Wii game casess or something

Oh and I should also add the Lifetime sales here in America according to the NPD as of the end of May.

X360 - 10,270,000
Wii - 10,180,000
PS3 - 4,450,000

According to this, the 360 only had a 90,000 unit advantage over the Wii by the end of May. This means that the Wii has overtaken the 360 by now since it's already mid June here in North America, and next months NPD will provide the factual proof. This means the Wii is now the offical market leader in every single major territory in the world.

I wonder who is the leader in the Antarctic market these days. Well, I'm just joking, but I guess a few people at that research station down there might be playing video games... at the bottom of the Earth.

Also, do people play video games in the 3rd world? Obviously not everyone does, but there's gotta be a handful of rich people in Africa and the middle-east who do. I wonder what their console of choice is.

Wow big drop for Wii hardware there, and Wii Fit a giant flop. What a disaster. Only like 4 games even sold. VERY slow month. HUGELY worrying for the industry that NOBODY is buying non Wii Play - Fit games. I'm embarrassed to be a Wii owner. The world is falling apart, this will surely set the stage for another world war.

XBOX360: 19.13 million

PS3: 13.26 million

Keep in mind vgchartz includes Canada as part of the "America" estimation while NPD number is about the US.

It's just too bad we can't see pictures or video of people reacting in shock and horror at Nintendo becoming the market leader in EVERY territory, despite the predictions of so many analysts 2 years ago. That would be a fun sight to see. Does anyone have any quotes or anything by people being shocked or angered to see Nintendo's success? Those would probably make an amusing read.

Nintendo DS: 783,000
Nintendo Wii: 666,700
PlayStation 3: 405,500
PlayStation Portable: 337,400
Xbox 360: 219,800
PlayStation 2: 188,798

Wii= the sign of the devil!! and PS3 outsold 360 2:1 thats a nice boost thanks to MGS4 and its funny how the 360 barely outsold the PS2.

Wow Sony catching up BIG TIME. That's quite concerning. Seems over for the 360 now, being destroyed by the gods of Sony in all territories. I can't believe how many stupid people are buying PS3s. The system looks set to totally take over the world and dominate the industry with its ten year plan.

Wii is officially the number 1 selling console in North America now.

It's also interesting to see that GTA4 is already out of the top 10. I thought it would stay there at least through this holiday season.
