I'm assuming you guys use some sort of automated software to add the NWR mark to the bottom right corner of your images.  It doesn't like transparent images.

Also, the "discuss it in talkback" links seem to have been removed (or very well hidden).

I can see in "Welcome to the New Nintendo World Report!" that there's a comment counter under the headline, and at the bottom of the page is a listing of all the comments, but in "No Underwater Stages in Donkey Kong Country Returns" there are no comments, even though the forum thread has 24 replies.

Clicking the "Release List" on the front page throws this error:

Not sure if it's a bug of just a mix up but the staff pages with stuff like favorite developers and movies and stuff like that is mixed up.

My avatar on the front page is squished.  My guess is because it's not a square image--it's 64 x 100--the front page isn't scaling it right.  It's trying to make it into a 33 x 33 image, but it's losing the original aspect ratio in the process.

I tested you talkback feature and posted a pic to the Inazuma Eleven news story.
Either the forum or the front page added size and font tags after the submit button was hit.

Now the talkback on the front page story shows the tags in the post.
the post should probably be changed to a link when viewed through the front page.

edit:
the story & front page then errored and logged me out. wouldn't let me log back in through the front page (i was still logged in through the forum) until i closed the window and opened a new one.

Bugs in the Talkback replies.

1. I posted this closer to one hour ago:

2. The first post in a Talkback thread doesn't show up on the news page.  Is this supposed to be an anti "First!!!1!" feature?  ;)   I'm guessing it was really meant to leave off the reposting of the news story itself.

The talkback posts to the article are not working quite right, as my post doesn't show up in the article about Iwata and Miyamoto's salaries. Also just curious as to why some posts have a blue banner in that same article?

On the home page all of the recent stories underline everything when you mouse over including the abstract and the image description on the right. Not sure if this is working as intended, but it seems like only the title should be underlined in this case.

Regardless, 2.0 is looking good!

You can't both filter and sort lists of game at the same time.

To reproduce (as an example):

1. Go to "Reviews"
2. Set "system" to "wii"
Games are now restricted to wii games
3. Click on the header of the "Score" column
Games are now sorted by score, but the System is reset to "All" and it shows results for all systems rather than just wii games.

1. Go to "Reviews"
2. Click on the header of the "Score" column.
Games are now sorted by score
3. Set the system to "Wii"
Games are now restricted to wii games, but it resets the sorting so it is no longer by score.
This also happens when filtering by letter.

Filtering by first letter also doesn't work at all:
1. Go to "Reviews"
Find a first letter of game names that is present ("A" is present right now)
2. Click the letter
I get no results.

I have a problem.  Whenever I klick a link to the podcast, rfn #200 from the news page for example, the page starts to load but hangs, looking at the small border bottom of IE it says loading 13 objects, but it just stalls there.

Im on a acer netboook, internet explorer 8, and 7mbit 3g mobile broadband. -no problems otherwise, anywhere. -Im in my summer cabin so I cant test it on a "real" computor.

..oh, and the nintendoworldreport 2.0 is just beautiful! ....i love it, except for the above mentioned.

I did and it is working fine. You know, we have such a long 'single conversation' PM thread that it may have started to glitch the system. This issue has happened in the past periodically now that I think about it but usually a refresh or two got it to move along.

I can't post new threads or edit my posts.

That's intentional.  Pretty soon you won't be able to post at all.

I keep saying this forum would be so much better if it weren't for the users.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Huh, weird.  For some reason, vudu shows up as a moderator to me.  Must be a glitch.

I can't post new threads or edit my posts.

Since most users have extreme scores either positive or negative that is the new norm. Having a score close to zero is similar to being placed of probation for being too dull.

The classic theme seems to be broken.  You'll have to use a different one.

Picture gallery has a bug in both Chrome and FireFox

In Firefox it will show all the pic thumbnails, but if you use the arrow to move to the next one, every 2 pics or so you get the message
"The requested content cannot be loaded.
Please try again later."

It's the same problem in Chrome, but it shows broken pic link inbetween every pic in the gallery

I never got a response, so I'm just gonna ask, am I the only one having this problem?

I picked a random story off the main page and scrolled down to the gallery:

Chrome:
Clicked on 1st working pic. the one with the green hair

FireFox:
Clicked on 1st pic again

IE:
Clicked on 1st pic again

All the other pics work fine, but on Chrome and IE there are a bunch of extra broken pic links. The 1st pic doesn't work in any of the three browsers though.

tried that, didn't work.

I just randomly picked another story with a gallery: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/24265
and the same thing happened here too.

is this only happening to me?
My chrome does act funny with this sites forum (advanced editor bugs to the point of not wanting to ever use the advanced editor.... ever), but I almost never check the front page unless I'm looking for pics to the talkback threads.

no one else is seeing what I see?

Ah, I see what you mean. There were 3 images from that Lego Wii controller article that are not showing up. I'm using Chrome.

There was a bug with Mac-Zipped files.  You're not missing anything, just invalid files that haven't been cleaned up yet.

It happens to me, too.  The real annoyance is that you can't navigate left or right after getting the "cannot be loaded" message.

I assume the mobile version of the site is broken. Clicking mobile whether on a desktop or a 3DS dumps you back at the normal index page.
