I'm still concerned about one thing which is how can Nintendo make Zelda games from this point on? Is it to be open ended or linear? It'll be really difficult to do new things from here on.
The big open world Zelda's will probably be the norm for home consoles. The handhelds will get the more linear traditional 3D ones probably from Grezzo now as well as 2D ones from a small part of the main team at EAD like the last several have been. That would make the most sense going forward.
That's assuming that the NX is home console only....but what if its both? That might be the bigger problem.
Also, considering how Xenoblade is a niche market, wouldn't that be the same for open world games as well? If that's the case, that wouldn't be so good for Zelda now would it?
Just a nitpick but EAD is now merged and formed as EPD which stands for Entertainment Planning Development. Although I won't blame you if you miss the term EAD....it just makes more sense than EPD.
