So does any staff know what time this is going to start?

There's no way in hell a Silicon Knights game will be shown. That said, I really need a sequel to ED; one my top 5 games last gen.

Funny you should say that.

http://www.siliconera.com/2010/02/16/new-trademark-prompts-thought-of-eternal-darkness-for-wii/

If Nintendo does reveal a new Eternal Darkness at the conference, it better begin with Reggie walking out on stage holding a leash that's connected to a collar worn by Denis Dyack who's walking on all fours barking like a dog.  Reggie needs to then say "Who's become who's b!tch now Dennis".

I'm down for a sequel but I have no interest in a NPC title unless they upgrade the graphics and tweak the control just a little. Even then a NPC title is of little interest.

I bought Eternal Darkness when it was first released, never played it, and sold it last year. It was the best game I never played.
I might do the same for a sequel, too.

Eternal Darkness sequel isn't happening. They just renewed the trademark for the first game. They did the same thing with Luigi's Mansion. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I just don't see that happening.

ProTip: It starts at 9 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, and the European one is on the Thursday.

Also what has SiliconKnights been doing since Too Human?
Licking their wounds.

Since Microsoft won't publish the rest of the Too Human series and likely no other publisher will either, I'm sure they're weighing their options. Too Human is probably dead. Revisiting Eternal Darkness is an option but they'd have to convince Nintendo to give a sh*t about a cult game that will probably bomb on the Wii.

New Play Control Pikmin 2. I demand that Nintendo allow me to pay $30 for a game I already own and can already play on my Wii. The sad thing is that this post is not at all sarcastic, I genuinely hope for this.

The so-called "rumours" about Sonic in Super Mario Galaxy 2 are absolutely hilarious. It's sad how Sonic fans have lost so much hope that they are now willing to cling to the impossibility of Sonic appearing in a mainline Mario game...

It isn't hilarious to me. I feel sorry for them...

I was never a Sonic/Sega fan, and I'm glad it was Sega that was forced out of the market instead of Nintendo, but still... I feel their pain. It would take a cold-hearted S.O.B. to be delighted by their sadness. I wish nothing but the best for the Sonic franchise and its fans.

Sonic's fanbase is them vs. Sega Of Japan. SoJ doesn't care for Sonic (since he was never popular in his home country to begin with) and the fanbase always calls them out. They just don't care.

Got Pikmin 2 for GCN, but missed out on Chibi-Robo. I would love the latter NPC.

Well if that game is going to be given a western release, I'd imagine this will be the place it's announced.  Since it was just released in Japan and these conferences are meant to address upcoming games for the North America and Europe markets, this is the time to do it.

If it's not announced this week then I'm afraid it will never leave Japan.

Rogue Squadron coming to Wii? could it be a remake?
http://www.game.co.uk/Wii/Rogue-Squadron/~r346565/

Is this what Factor 5 has been working on?
Is this something that could be revealed at the upcoming Media Summit or merely a mistake on the part of Game UK?

So, this week. What's occurring? Well, only the Nintendo Summit that threatens to blow our tiny minds with awesome revelations. We mentioned on our Twitter feed a week or so ago that it threatens to be "better than Nintendo's last two E3s glued together". Naturally, our comment has caused all manner of internet speculation, as all good comments should do, but we're not kidding when we say that you can expect some Very Big News in the next few days.

I changed my mind; they'd better not announce New Play Control Pikmin 2 at this thing. I just bought an import copy of it last night and I'd be pissed if it turned out to be coming out here. My new wish is for a DSi Storage Solution.

This might not be important, but NAL (Nintendo of Australia) has their Media Summit tomorrow. Does NWR have someone going there? I have no idea, but you should be able to follow @Serrels on twitter as he says that he will be "twittering the crap out of it if anyone is interested". He is with ONM Australia.

It's supposedly NDA'd so lets see what he leaks if there is anything worth leaking.

p.s. Wed. Summit supposedly has a 12hr NDA on it so don't expect any "official" info until 9 pm pst. (unless we get a leak)
