The current victory rules state that the green team has to have over half of their team left, while either the red or the blue team has to have less than half.  Under that condition, we'd be dangerously close to a green win.

Gee, good point, stevey!  Do you suppose that Khushrenada could be the other green team member?  I never would have guessed that by looking at anything he's done at all this game!  Keen observation!

It's true.  Khush is green and Maxi is green.  Khush is defending maxi in order to keep the green team from losing today, it's the same stunt he pulled yesterday when he brought in DAaaMan into the mix for no reason at all.

Yes its the same thing essentially. The green need to fall to half or lower to be out of the game (above half is the minimum to win). The other teams have to be below half (half is the minimum to win).
