I just noticed this was posted on my original forum SN.  But I can't remember the password to log in nor the email address I used to register it.  =o(

It's heart-warming to see that there are people who remember Sweet Pete and Blue Balls.  Karl and I guessed there were maybe 6 people who remembered and 4 of them were at the table recording this episode.

I've been a member of this thing since 2003.  Bwa ha ha.

Too bad this'll be my last post under this User Name.

Consider this both Stealthy Warrior's Triumphant Return and Retirement.

TalkBack / Metal Gear Solid on GameCube - CONFIRMED
« on: February 27, 2003, 05:39:52 PM »
A joint Konami and Nintendo venture.  Mario Gear Solid.  Think about it.  You could make the little pudgy plumber into a stealthy warrior ready to plunge in and attack by jumping on heads, squirting water, or simply ramming into hordes of enemies with his Invincible Star Power.  What a beautiful marriage.  I can't wait.

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda problem????
« on: February 08, 2003, 07:17:34 PM »
That's not a framerate issue, that's an effect and it's purely intentional.  Rare did the same thing for Starfox, you'll hardly notice it when you're playing.

No it wouldn't, because HAL's secret project is Donkey Kong Island.

Well there you go.  It's not a secret anymore.

TalkBack / Sega Officially Kills GameCube Sports Development
« on: February 07, 2003, 11:55:02 PM »
Considering Sega's best selling games on a next generation console have all been on the GameCube, I wouldn't worry about this news unless you're a sports fan.  But then again, you could get some friends together, head outside (that's the place with all the dirt and trees) and throw a real life football and sprain some real life ankles.

Nintendo Gaming / Secret projects!!

Imagine this:  Not only a new Kid Icarus game rendered in 3 D with a stellar new engine, but it's also online.  Now you may think, why the hell would Kid Icarus be online.  Multiplayer co-op.  That's the magic word these days, that's what everyone wants.

That's what I want.  I also want steak.  And three million dollars.

I was hoping for a more country feel this go around.

Nintendo Gaming / Give me Mario Kart or give me death
« on: February 07, 2003, 11:40:43 PM »
Actually, the death thing made it intriguing.  The simple fact that you're willing to die if the game is not released is moving.  Also, I'd like to see you put your money where your mouth is, so here's hoping it gets pushed back.
