I think it's a good choice as far as the MCU goes since it's recognizable to fans yet distinctive enough to set this incarnation of the character from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Yeah it'll be fine after we get used to it. I think I was just surprised that a movie subtitled "Civil War" would have such a bright costume. Not that there's anything wrong with that I might add. Just a bit surprised.

But yes I do love how the eyes move. Interestingly you can hear a mechanical whine when they move. I imagine a recent movie about another hero who's eyes move may have had something to do with that.

Also, I think we finally saw his jaw move when he spoke. FINALLY!!! This has bugged me for years.

Marvel sure knows how to cut a trailer, but again, they've ruined the magic of a reveal in their movie.

I really don't understand this. First, they messed up a Hulkbuster reveal, and now Spidey? Why don't they trust in the magic of a theater experience? It's nice to see Spider-Man (and I personally think the new costume looks great, though the body shape looks so much bulkier than I thought it would), but that reveal being kept in the theater would have increased its impact so much more.

I loved Spiderman at the end. I loved the Costume. I love the comic book take on the mask for add expression, but I think they should not have shown him at all. I personally really like the direction of Tony Stark he has really grown as a character. I can't help but side with him on this battle. Captain America better have more motivation than just a friendship or he is going to look bad.

Though, I can understand him not trusting a government organization after he just found out that the government was infiltrated with Hydra.

We "knew" it was gonna happen, but we didn't KNOW it was happening. if that makes sense.

And I only watched it on my phone so far so I didn't notice or hear the Spidey eye thing, but if his eyes are expressioned, then great. I won't mind that huge black border if it helps to animate his face behind the mask.

The eyes focus - black border grows inward so the white part gets smaller. Looks awesome.

I was for Captain America in the comics, but his position in this movie makes him look like an idiot.

Captain America is like that guy in a zombie movie where his loved one, Winter Soldier, gets infected and he won't let anyone else put him down even though he's running around eating people's brains.

I just finished Jessica Jones and there didn't seem to be much tie-in to DD. Though, one character did make an appearance. It's possible something might carry over, but I wouldn't think anything plot-significant would.

The Netflix shows are framed similarly to the films. You don't absolutely need to watch all of them, but there's some connective threads and ultimately a payoff once the big crossover event happens. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist are leading up to The Defenders. Even so, you can probably get away with skipping everything and just watching The Defenders whenever that comes out. I have yet to see Thor: Dark World and I still feel like I'm up to speed on the MCU. Each movie and show is meant to still be enjoyable individually though you're rewarded as a viewer if you see everything. Luke Cage plays a pretty substantial role in Jessica Jones yet you can likely still skip it and understand Luke Cage's show later this year. Additionally, Marvel hasn't announced any major crossovers to Daredevil like it did with Luke Cage appearing in Jessica Jones so you should be fine.

I would still recommend watching Jessica Jones if only for David Tennant's amazing performance. I didn't enjoy Jessica Jones (the show or character) anywhere near as much as Daredevil. Jumping off of what Evan_B said, I don't even think Kilgrave was that interesting. However, David Tennant was just so good. I'm not even a Dr. Who fan.
