Eh, I'm not sure that was real. It's nothing spoilerific or particularly noteworthy anyway. But hey, I'll be able to tell you in a few days if it's legit or not.

Daredevil gets a Season 2!!! DeKnight steps down though.

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/21/daredevil-renewed-season-2?adsf
Quote
Daredevil will return! Marvel’s acclaimed superhero drama just received a second season order on Netflix.

But there’s a twist: EW can exclusively report that showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus) is stepping down from the series. Instead, writers Doug Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy)—who worked closely with DeKnight and creator Drew Goddard in the first season—will both serve as the showrunners for season two.

The next edition of Daredevil will debut in 2016 as Netflix gets ready to release several other Marvel dramas: A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. After all four shows debut, Marvel plans to team all its Netflix heroes for an Avengers-style series called The Defenders.

Daredevil debuted last week and received some of the best reviews of any superhero TV series, with critics praising the show for bringing grown-up dramatics, a cinematic style, and more realistic violence to the small-screen genre. Its single-take hallway fight scene became an instant classic. A fair measure of the show’s creative success can doubtless be attributed to to DeKnight, who said he was trying to push Marvel’s comfort zone, and made many unique storytelling moves. (For instance: the show’s major villain, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), was originally supposed to be introduced in the first episode, but DeKnight rather boldly pushed him back to the very end of the third hour to more effectively build suspense around the character.)

Dope but I agree with you, the actor for Kingpin just isn't scary enough. Everytime he shows his strength he's like a completely different character.

Was awesome as expected.

I don't think it was as much fun as the first, but still a great comic book romp. Those couple of slo-mo scenes were awesome.

I was a bit disappointed with the final Ultron fight. I probably shouldn't talk about it too much until more people have seen it though.

I really loved the Avengers movie.  (Age of Ultron)  Personally, I thought it was better than the first movie...however I might be in the minority here.  The first movie and second movie are extremely similar and in a way it feels like we watched the same movie.  This will be viewed as a mark against the new movie, however, to me it illustrates how much better this movie did things than the first.

My one complaint is that Ultron didn't seem to have much development, both my wife and I felt like his motivations and hatred for Tony Stark were not truly explained or explored...also we felt the "Strings on me" element was very forced.  He was never a puppet to begin with, just like he never really had a relationship with Tony Stark...so why does he hate him.

Despite this, the movie was fun...however I personally can't wait for another writer and director team to handle the series.  Joss has always been overrated.

I went to this movie cold as I didn't have any intention of going to the cinema to watch this....

Ultron significantly better than the first. The first was an adequate movie which had a monotone pace. Was predictable, awkward, had generally uninteresting action, poor motivations for inter-team conflict, too much Stark also what the point of Hawkeye?.

Ultron is has generally natural characters, most of the action is pretty good although for some reason they decided to ruin chunks of it with shakey cam. Had a good varying pace that let you breath a little, although it is slightly overly aggressive with the editing which was done to keep the length down as it is a long movie that might have been 2 movies, so between the two evils, they chose the right one. We still have a Hawkeye problem where he is still an outsider, but he doesn't bring that to the group and it more for personal brooding.

Stark is something of an imbecile where he once again doesn't think about the consquences of his actions, even from one moment to the next. He never faces up to them ever. Sure he "Fixes" things, but he never takes personal responsibility.

Overall Joss has learned from quite a few of his mistakes and has made a better movie. Good for him and I would wish other directors would do the same but that's not going to happen, if anything else most directors get worse.

Ultron was an improvement over the first, but the chaos was certainly a lot more too.

The film's biggest weakness is the significantly overstuffed primary cast. It's big, and its TOO big. I get why the other characters (War Machine, Falcon) was there but given how much this film had to juggle, setup and move forward with having so many characters didn't help.

That said, Joss' talent at wit and sparkle in the writing is still there.

When Hulk throws Ultron out of the plane at the end: FOR GOD'S SAKE! Very well done

I felt like this movie was almost Avengers 1.5...it seemed to be telling the same story, or at least hitting the same story elements of the first...but I agree it was done better.

Actually, I really enjoyed that Joss put all the heroes we have seen in the movie...it made it feel more real.  A global crisis is occurring and you would not have 2 of your heroes show up?

the question that we have left to ask is "How connected....?"
I know it won't be as world shaping as the CA:TWS tie-in, but how connected at the TV show to the movie events this time around?

Man you guys I don't know why I was never in on this thread! I just finished Daredevil and MAAAAAN! What a show I absolutely loved it to death! I know I'm late and the discussion will be on Ultron very soon but dude did they do a good job! I want more, so much more!

It really is amazing how they've been piecing all of these movies and tv shows together! In high school I dreamed of this and I thought it would happen but after a while I completely realized the movies were made with no intention of acknowledging anything other than that specific world of characters. Now though, real life is real.
