Well, that was something. Trailer was good. Too early to show Doom I guess. I question the tone since I don't like F4 being super serious but at least it looks competent.

Still not a fan of the Torch being a black guy but I'll get over it.

Fox is planning a live action X-Men TV show for the 2016/2017 fall season at the earliest

of course Marvel has to sign off on it, which is why I say it might affect the MCU later.
maybe Marvel can get joint rights to Galactus and Silver Surfer or the entire F4 franchise (depending on BO results) in exchange for releasing TV rights to X-men to Fox.

I decided to read the Civil War story line (through Wiki) because of the memes that poke fun of it. And I don't know how they can tell the story without the X-Men. I mean, Wolverine is all up in it, even using Tony Stark's suit at one point. This isn't like Spider-Man, how is pretty crucial but is just one person. This is a whole race of people that effectively can't be acknowledged.

The x-men don't factor into the main mni series at all. There were tie-ins with the X-men books at the time, but the xmen didn't actually participate in the war save a few due to the deal that was had with the US government. Stark went to get Emma's support and she told him to F'off and as long as the mutant places weren't touched they wouldn't do anything.

The biggest players in the actual story were Tony, Steve, and Peter, Reed Richards, and the new warriors. You can still effectively make the same film with the MCU we have now.

Did Chris Pratt not signed a licensing deal with any of the toy manufacturers? I've notices that almost every Starlord figure either has the mask (non-removable) or it just has a generic face, when Gamora and Drax clearly look like Zoe Saldana and Batista.

I have to say Thanos looks better as a toy than any of the movies.

Also on Agent Carter:
They took the time to make that villain somewhat notorious and then take him out quickly in a scene with what is currently a nobody.

I agree with the Thanos, and considering he looks different in GotG than he did in A1, I hope they amend him yet again for his next appearance to look more like the Hot Toy version.
I think the chin was weird with the GotG /Brolin model.

as far as AC she <aka Dottie> is a Black Widow. I posted the links above.
I really wish this show was much more... engaging. I really want to be super in to it, but it's just not gripping me like it apparently did the early review critics. It has it's moments, but I just find it honestly kinda dull. Hopefully the back half picks up as they get to all the good stuff now.

The problem with Agent Carter is that its trying to be a period piece in a fictional world and things were just duller in the 50's. It also doesn't help that it has a very strong narrative on feminism.

They are afterall going to need to recover all that was stolen and clear the good Stark name.
and all that leads up to the point where Stark formally invites her to co-chair the creation of SHIELD.

I know the ratings for this show hasn't been knocking it out the park, but most shows take a break during this season for a reason, so can't really hold it against them. Although I do hope they get a second season that focuses on the late 50's - mid 60's during the early years of SHIELD.
That would bring us to the introduction of Pym being a SHIELD scientist back in the day there is an Ant-man prequel comic showing an aged Carter confronting Pym in his Ant-man suit in the lab and maybe the use of the Original Human Torch android and countless other tie ins and easter eggs to flesh out the pre MCU/Ironman history a bit.

A nice tie in to one of the movies would be great. But I'm really hoping for more than just 1.
A tie in to Iron Man is expected, and hoping for one into Ant-Man and Agent of SHIELD as well.
