In the comics there have been two incarnations of the secret Avengers, the first came a bit after the Dark Reign event and was a black ops team for the main Avengers Orgianization in the same way that the X-force team was a wetworks team for the x-men.

The second and most current incarnation of the team is a Shield orgainzed team of Avengers that are once again like a super powered wet works crew.

For an MCU version we'd probably get five notable Marvel characters on the team so probably Mockingbird, Dethlok, Skye, and two more character. The actual term secert avengers would probably be used as a in-joke They'd probably show up during the Age of Ultron tie in.

I'm neutral as well, as I've never watched him in anything I can recall.

GAF seems pretty split on the news though. Hate/Indifference/Love.

I'm not super familiar with the character myself, but I was kinda pulling for a Strange Hawke. I thought that would've been fun. But Benny Strangebatch might be perfectly fit for the role. I have no idea.
Marvel has been pretty on the ball so far, outside of a few early hiccups (no one is perfect) so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now... assuming this pans out as true (Deadline, THR & Variety are reporting it BTW)

I've heard of it, I always meant to check it out, but I have so much american TV on my plate, I need time to dedicate to 3x 2hr episodes of british accents to complete a season. That'a a commitment. That's like watching 3 movies, vs binge watching 13x 40minute episodes at my leisure.

Besides, I get my Sherlock fix from Elementary in the mean time.... well as soon as that season starts again. But trust me, it's on my "to be watched" list.

I still need to finish Luther too, while I'm at it.

p.s. BC has a weird face. Like it's made from putty.
I just saw the photo of him morphed with a potato. it didn't take a lot of manipulation, and was pretty damn funny.
He was also in the latest Star Trek movie. Didn't know that was him... putty face. Facial hair may actually help him out.

Bet tomorrow's announcement will be a future of MCU thing and be a sort of response to the Warner's Investor call where they showed their slate of films. While Marvel probably wanted to wait till after Age of Ultron they're probably going to announce the next slate of films with actual logo's and maybe concept art. Were going to get a subtle jab at the whole seperate moves and TV from Warner. The thing is going to end with a one more thing being the announcement of the Sinster Six movie being in the MCU.

This season they haven't gone on in it yet but, Tripp is a Ward replacement/possible love interest for Simmons/Skye. Mack on the other hand is a Technical replacement for Fitz/Simmons replacement for Fitz. Mack isn't as smart as Fitz is, even in his damaged state, but, he makes up for it by being a skilled craftsman. Since Fitz can't be the gadget builder anymore Mack is taking there place. Unfortunately the over arching plot this season hasn't gotten to show off there skill sets really.

I haven't caught up yet, but is sounds like Marvel announced Black Panther, Capt. Marvel, named Thor 3 : Ragnarok, moved GotG 2 to May 2017, and formally announced Dr. Strange w/ artwork.

[updates as I get them] HOLY ****!!!! IT"S THE MOTHERLOAD OF INFO RELEASED!!!

- Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther 1st appearance is in Civil War in costume!!!
- Civil War will be about regulation of heroes and who reports to who. Not secret identities.
- Black Widow will be like The Hulk for now and just appear in other peoples movies. Hulk may have something in a future Phase.
