This week from the war crimes company: war crimes!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/77801/nintendo-downloads-october-22-2026

In terms of octane of releases, there's two flagrant outliers this week: the first Call of Duty game on a Nintendo system since the last one I played in Ghosts, and the newest game in Nintendo's wide Sports series (of which I believe Wii Sports has outsold each individual entry in the CoD series). So the big game as far as I'm concerned is... Final Fantasy Resonance, because it's multiplatform, has a chance of getting a legit Ariana Grande crossover, and a little* bit of News Editor obligé. And it's an actual turn based Final Fantasy game that really should be named Final Fantasy XVI, let's be real.

Joining Call of Duty on the war criminals front we have the Switch 2 release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and there's also another Direct regular (somehow...) in One Piece: Grand Gourmet. The original Switch also gets the PC strategy RPG Frostpunk.

THINGS WE MISSED LAST WEEK: A STANDUP release for It Takes Two from Hazelight, and a warning about Console Archives The Drug Store: it's Japanese language only.

IS THE EGGCONSOLE GAME PLAYABLE IN ENGLISH: You might recognize "Megalopolis SOS" under its name prior to the serial numbers getting filed off: Missile Command.
