Japan eShop Round-Up (03/19/2014)
« on: March 19, 2014, 11:38:35 AM »

Hello new Sega 3D Classic!

While not everything released this week on the eShop is a gem, there was quite a bit of content unleashed to gamers in Japan. Sega is up to their old antics again, in a good way, with the release of their latest 3D Classic title, 3D Fantasy Zone: Opa Opa Bros. on the Nintendo 3DS. This crazy shooter has players controlling a spaceship named Opa-Opa as he blasts through enemies in pastel colored environments. Super Mario Bros. 2 also made its way to the Wii U eShop as well as Japanese niche titles like Knightmare: Majō Densetsu. Heck, even Gundam is represented this week with a Famicom Disk System title making it out on the 3DS. It is also a pretty big release week for retail titles on Nintendo’s handheld with Mario Party: Island Tour, Game Center CX, and Sega’s Hero Bank all coming out.
